Electronic artist PlatinumFungi has created a commemorative Mega Man 2 NES console that features a backlit display of images from the game. Painted blue by Nintendo console painter Custom NES Guy, the system even features Mega Man’s face on the controllers, along with blue buttons and an all blue design. No word yet on if PlatinumFungi plans to create a Mega Man version of Wii U once Smash Bros. is released on the console.

Maybe I’m too retro for my own good, but I think I’d be happier if Nintendo re-released a new NES console and started making new NES games than I am with the Wii U (or any other console). But that’s just me.
I’d also be happier if people actually commented on the topic instead of talking to each other like childish elementary school kids.
The comments section seems to be better today, since now one need to log in to leave any note here.
And with regard to the NES revival… I never thought about that… I really miss the pixelated graphics era, but… I don’t think that would work! :)

I don’t think I really have a favorite Mega Man game. But if I did, it would probably be Mega Man 3. Because I love Rush the dog and Mega Man’s slide move (if that was Mega Man 3?). Also, Mega Man 3 was my first Mega Man game to actually own. So I have the most memories of it.
I’ve played every Mega Man game there is (the first 8), and I have to say, my LEAST favorite is Mega Man 8. I HATE that one. It doesn’t even feel like a Mega Man game. I hated the techno music in it too.
I’m absolute shit at the original Mega Man games but this is cool. :3
