Publisher Little Orbit has released a launch trailer for Barbie Dreamhouse Party. Based on the Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse web series, the game has players help Barbie and her friends to make their way through several minigames by using their skills, charm and teamwork. Barbie Dreamhouse Party is available now for Nintendo DS, Wii, Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.

Silly enough I played the Barbie game on the SNES. It was an avoider game where you dodged cars, people, animals, and all sorts of random things. Than you’d learn a certain pattern for a catwalk fashion show than dodge your way back to the event.
I wish a bit more work was put into Barbie games. It’s such a shame that a lot of developers don’t take kid games seriously. They don’t deserve poor quality at full price.
