With The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug due out next month, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has confirmed that LEGO: The Hobbit will be released on various platforms next year. It was only last week that promotional material was leaked online for a potential return to Middle-earth. Warner’s last endeavour into the fantasy realm with LEGO: The Lord of the Rings received positive reviews from the critics, but was delayed for up to a week on the Wii in Europe.
LEGO: The Hobbit will follow Bilbo, Gandalf, Thorin and the other dwarves through their adventures in Middle-earth. Like its predecessor each character will have their own special moves, and will travel through The Misty Mountain, High Pass, Rivendell, Goblin-town and Mirkwood. LEGO: The Hobbit will be released Spring 2014 for Wii U, 3DS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PS Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC and Mac.

Because we really need another shitty lego game
Wow the news is just rolling in today. But I’ve never been into Lego games since the Star Wars ones.
THIS IS PROBABLY THE ONLY KIND OF GAMES THAT WB WILL EVENTUALLY RELEASE FOR WII U. SINCE ALL THEIR GAMES ARE A FLOP ON WII U
But why are you saying a game is kiddy for? Do you not play video games for fun? Shame on you!

I enjoyed Lego City, but most lego games are the same. Might pick it up if I don’t have anything else to play, though.
The Marvel one that was recently released wasn’t actually that bad. It definitely felt different from the other ones.
Lego games are always a blast, awesome.
