Atlus has announced its annual Black Friday sale for its various games. Though there’s only one 3DS title on sale this time around, it’s one that a fair few users will be jumping for joy over. Shin Megami Tensei IV is on sale for $29.99 in North America – that’s a whopping $20 off its original RRP of $49.99. Atlus has also sweetened the deal by dropping the price on the game’s DLC, all of which can be purchased under $2. However, this sale won’t last forever, so if you’re a fan or are purchasing it as part of a gift, you can grab it at the lower price from November 28 to December 2 both in stores and on the 3DS eShop.

They already did a promotion with Kid Icarus this year. It was sold half the price on Eshop for some time. Did you miss it ?

Whoever hasn’t gotten this game, GET IT. It is basically Pokemon on some very pure quality steroids.
Okay, so it’s not entirely like Pokemon, but damn, it gives the same kind of addictive flavor. The music is so BADASS, and the numerous ways you can interact with the demons is so damn sexy. There’s one kind of interaction where, say if you’ve already recruited a kind of demon and that same demon is begging for his life (yes, they do this!) and you give him the option to join your team, he’ll see you already have his fellow demon…and he’ll recommend ANOTHER DEMON! Gotta catch em all? More like GOTTA FUSE EM ALL! Majority of the time, you’ll be fusing your demons instead of trying to recruit them, and the sheer power you can gain in an INSTANT just by fusion alone is just…*drools*. And let me tell ya, the game gives you a helload of incentive for gaining power quickly — this game will KICK YOUR ASS. You will never see your pokemon die as fast as your demons will in pretty much every single fight you’ll get into in this game. The enemy AI knows HOW TO SLAUGHTER YOU. You want a real challenge? This game is it for you, even on medium difficulty. And yes, this is the kind of game where the choices you make will most certainly affect what kind of story you’ll be playing…and THAT’S AWESOME. I’m serious, I kid you not, please get this game if you have a 3DS, even if you’ve never played any sort of Shin Megami Tensei game in your life, Persona included. It is such a damn good game. You will not regret it.
Hm, I may just pop out ALBW temporarily to finish my Neutral quest…just maybe.
