Earlier today, Nintendo of Europe announced in a Mini Direct that the virtual guide for the Louvre Museum in Paris would be available to download in the Nintendo 3DS eShop. Now, Nintendo of America has announced that 3DS users will also be able to purchase the app in North America at $19.99, which includes set Museum tours, more than 30 hours of commentary and over 400 3D photographs in 360° panoramic view. Nintendo 3DS Guide: Louvre will be available from December 2.
Nintendo 3DS Guide: Louvre Confirmed For North America

Whenever I see the Mona Lisa these days, what I immediately think of is “What’s the position of her hands? That douchebag fox had better not swindle me again…”
I’d actually like to get this app.

Dang, the artist in me REALLY wants this, but $20.00!?…Oy vey…
I actually want this app. If I were ever to go to Paris, I would probably have to pay more to get into the museum and I would love to go there. Since I will probably never get to Paris, this is an option that’s cheap in comparison. I paid a little less for a virtual tour of Tokyo and it was great.
I don´t see many gamers interested in this, but I do think that this is a great idea. I always wanted to know how this application was since it was introduced in the Louvre last year, and I love classic art. I´ll be definetely buying this
It’s also very educational. Class trip to the Louvre, anyone? I think it’s a great idea as a downloadable title. :)
Its on my interest list as a professional artist. Still would rather go there in person, just need to find the time.

$20?! *smh* Ah well… it’s a one time thing right? :)
With this app, you’re basically getting the Louvre museum in your pocket. Sure, it’s not as great as actually visiting the place, but it’s a nice alternative. I think it’s priced appropriately. This is top quality material you’re getting.
Sooo, I’m in NA, and it’s not on the eShop. Where is it? D:
If NA eShop is anything like the UK eShop sometimes titles don’t appear until after 5pm even though they should be up by midnight. Just going to have to wait a bit longer. :)
