Nintendo of America has updated its Club Nintendo rewards for those of you in the United States. There are four titles that you can get your hands on including Balloon Flight and Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels. Which games will you be spending your hard-earned coins on this month?
- Mario’s Picross – 100 coins (Nintendo 3DS eShop)
- Super Mario Bros The Lost Levels – 150 coins (Wii Shop)
- Starship Defense – 150 coins (Nintendo 3DS eShop)
- Balloon Fight – 200 coins (Wii U eShop or the Wii Shop)

What is Club Nintendo?
Club.Nintendo is a website where you register your games on the site. This will give you coins, and you can then buy cool items (and downloadable games)! It’s REALLY worth it, IMO. Especially if you buy a fair amount of Nintendo things.

Firstly, why the fuck would i want an Xbox One lol, or even a ps4, neither of them have any good games on them at the moment as most of them are delayed till 2014. My next Gen console of choice will probably be a PS4 but I’m going to hold off on buying one until there’s at least a few games out to justify buying the console. Secondly my grandma is dead – she doesn’t buy me presents sadly and so there’s nothing to be ungrateful for, she was a an inspirational woman and i pay my respects to her regularly so look who the asshole is now.

Yep. I own all four. And Starship Defense is truly worth cashing in coins or buying outright if you enjoy Tower defense games.
I wish they start replacing those wii points things on UK club Nintendo to Wii U eShop cards,
Though I guess those would go for about 6000 points for 15€ (comparing to wii points).
But I guess I would have enough points to get a full retail game with the stack I have.
VC titles would be welcome too, but as far as I know, Europe has not had those in club Nintendo.

Nintendo Gamecube was the last to use it if I’m correct,
Nintendo retired it during the Wii and DS days (some time into the Wii, so a few Wii and DS games still used the old red one). Now it is only allowed to ever be black on light backgrounds, white on dark backgrounds, or a specific shade of gray (the same as the Wii logo) on whatever background best compliments it. Like most logos by most companies, these are the few official usages they allow and anything else is a violation and therefor unofficial (no gradients, no beveling/embossing, no rainbow colors, no glowing effects, etc.)

I don’t mind My Nintendo News using it, since it uses images from the web and everyone knows that (a nod would be nice though! ;) – plus it’s flattering. But on other sites I’ve had lots of my art actually claimed to be made by other people and they refuse to take it down or at least give me credit, even though I have the Photoshop file to prove it was me and not them.

condolence for your shitty rewards in USA. I just received today a freakin luigi pillow/eyemask/sheet in one from EU nintendo club rewards. I dont know what i would do if all i got was some shitty downloads. Thank god we have pikmin keyrings and other things come regularly
