People are…just go to the stores and you’ll be surprise how many people are picking up Wii U’s!!! Just recently I saw 4-5 people buying Wii U’s at the Best Buy in my area; during the 1 hour I was there. There was also around 2 people I saw that walked out with Wii U Mario Bundles leaving only a single Mario Bundle left for the entire store at a local TRU. Unfortunately though, they had 3 regular Deluxe bundle and a ZombieU bundle that had been sitting there for a few months according to the sales person. The hot sellers seem to be the NSMB bundle, WW bundle, and Skylanders Wii U bundle.

Funny you say this, I just went to like 4 Best Buys in my area and called another to check for availability… ALL SOLD OUT!
Granted, it could be they didn’t stock that many to begin with, but…I didn’t expect people to buy one.
But then one guy finally told me about the deal that they were offering in this post… so I went online and ordered one myself with the expedited shipping, because FUCK waiting.
Exactly, I was surprised at the current pace the Wii U is selling this December. It’s having very healthy sales close to feverish but not quite. The Skylander’s bundle at $249 at TRU went pretty fast in my area (they were also offering a $25 GC with the purchase).
I bought one a couple of days ago! Loving it so far! ZombiU is amazing btw!

My sister was at a gamestop picking up a game, she was in the Wii U section and a little kid (about 6-7) approached her and asked her if she was picking up a wii u. My sister said yes, and he immediately followed with “the Wii U is only for little kids, if and old person like you (shes 25) is trying to pick up a game, you need to pick up GTA, Cod, or GT6.
I was completely surprise at his response, makes me wonder if this is why Nintendo isnt selling as well, it seems to be losing its foothold with the younger market as well. Of course one kid doesnt mean doom and gloom for Nintendo, but its very surprising.
