James Farr, a talented animator, has merged the worlds of Super Smash Bros and Star Wars to create the epic video that can be seen above. The video features Super Mario gameplay with the characters and elements of the Star Wars universe. You can watch the first part here and the second part of the animation, right here.
Artist Combines Smash Bros And Star Wars To Create Wonderful Animation

Yodachu was the best
That was amazing! The animation style was really nice, a lot of easing effects were used, which just made everything look way bouncier and cooler. I loved it!
Not bad!
Hopefully more to come…
Now I don’t know alot about Star Wars (never watched the movies) but I do know alot about Nintendo, from the parts of Starwars i understood, i thought that this was very well executed, so good that i might actually watch a Star Wars movie… maybe
completely agreed! I’ve honestly scene barely any movies, and I only recently saw the ‘back to the future’ trilogy, which was amazing, so now I’m just SO excited to watch the star wars trilogy. Along with Lord of the rings, apparently that’s good too.
He made one for the 1st (fourth?) movie as well, check it out on his channel! Love his sense for details, so many easter eggs! xD
Awesome…until Disney pulls a dick move and takes it down.
then download the video an “mirror” it
Nintendo should team up with Disney to make this a reality… It would sell better than sliced bread when it first launched hahaha!
That was awesome.
No Xbots to battle today…
I’m so bored…
LOOK LIKE ONE OF THOSE CHEAP ASS ANDROID GAMES.
Well, first of all it’s a video not a video game you dumbass, what do you think? It’s not trying to look like anything, secondly, it’s a PARODY VIDEO, do you know what that means? it means it’s not funded with millions of dollars, it’s not making any money, it’s loaded on YouTube for everyone to view and have a laugh at, they don’t care about your prissy little problem about what it looks like, now shut your whiny little trap and get over it
It’s funny, because the animation actually uses quite a lot of fantastic techniques and is done with such detail. To call this ‘cheap ass’ shows you don’t know anything in the animation field.
You must be very hard to please… and you are rather unintelligent.
Firstly, the animation in this video is absolutely GORGEOUS and extremely impressive. The person who made this video CLEARLY has a bright future ahead in the field of animation.
Secondly, this is a Youtube video…. not a video game. Thus it is not related to any “cheap ass android games” in the slightest.
Would be great if High Command hired this lovely person so that he could publish his work on Nintendo Video and such things…
Don’t talk to me about Nintendo Video… I live in a region with no Nintendo Zone, no Netflix or Hulu, no Nintendo Video, no places to get even 1 Streetpass hit, nada
Xbox One selling awesomely
Wii U not even selling
Go
Do you work for Microsoft?- Didn’t think so.., Therefore, the Xbox One’s sales (no matter how abysmal they may be) have no affect on you whatsoever. I almost wish they did though, you’d be losing million ;)
If only you had a large mountain of cash stashed away in the bank. You should take a page out of Nintendo’s book.

James Farr also made one for A New Hope. You should probably watch this one first.
Yeah, I watched them all and realized, this one is the one to watch first. Doesn’t really matter if you watch them out of order though. Out of order is more like the Star Wars spirit wouldn’t you say?! ;)

He’s done other ones as well like super mario meets ghostbusters and koopa troopers meets teenage mutant ninja turtle. They’re all so good =3

God are you people late…
Not sure of all the Star Wars effects, but regarding the Nintendo mashup effects, it provided really interesting concepts if they were really able to travel to their gaming worlds from all the different Nintendo first-party, and i know that the planet used here was from the Star Wars universe, that entire element of Star Wars (planets, ships, lasers, space) could easily be replaced by the Star Fox universe. If Nintendo were ever to decide to do a collaboration using their All-Star cast with another company (Capcom, Sega, Square Enix, etc.) they should really consider the diversity that they could bring, because honestly with Nintendo titles alone they have a wide variety of genres. With Platformers, Action/Adventure, Space Combat, FPS, Racing, Tactical RPG, JRPG, and probably others I’m forgetting, their titles cover alot of diverse gameplay, characters, and whole different settings.
