Yoshifumi Hashimoto, the producer behind Harvest Moon and Rune Factory, has revealed that the company has a variety of games in development this year. Hashimoto also teased that they have something in development that has yet to be announced that will undoubtedly please the fans.
“2013 was fun and busy on the daily, but it’s over. It’s now 2014. First, “Harvest Moon: Connect to a New Land”, and we’ll be publishing “Valhalla Knights 3 Gold”. Some other things are being worked on now, so we hope they’ll be announced and available to the market soon. Because there are titles with considerable power, stay tuned! Amongst them is one that might really surprise you.”

Well that is a foolish thing to say, anonymous. Surely people can like what they like and dislike what they like because of their tastes and not because of a title.
I don’t think a true gamer “has” to enjoy games through every platform. Are gamers who find no joy on FPS’s and racing games not gamers? Are gamers who do not enjoy 2D side scrolling not gamers? If you can dislike a game based on it’s classification than you can dislike a game based on it’s platform.
I hate when people make a big deal over video gaming like it is some sort of “religion” or “way of life.”

He’s obviously not value something over the genre of games though. There is a difference between “I don’t play FPS/Sidescrollers/Jump’n’Runs/etc because I don’t enjoy the gameplay” and “I won’t look at that game neiher care about it because it’s not for Nintendo/Sony/Microsoft”. I sorta do agree with the anonymous, even if it was a little harsh, because Nintendo Commander’s way of thinking indeed seems narrow-minded. Just my opinion though.

No, the 3DS needs to keep doing what it does, lots of great games and variety. I know it has plenty but keep it coming. Now the Wii U has to follow suit and offer the same amount and quality of games and then it will sell and more want to develop games for Wii U.
I love my Wii U but it needs way more games, a lot of them. The good thing is that it is backwards compatible. This adds tremendously to the Wii U’s usefulness for me right now.

I have never bought a game by Marvelous AQL and I have never had the intention of buying a game by Marvelous…. I doubt that their “Mystery” project will convince me otherwise.
