Kingdom Hearts 4 looks set to the shaping up to be something special and Famitsu recently caught up with Tetsuya Nomura and Yasushi Yasue after the Disney D23 Kingdom Hearts panel to discuss the game. Mr. Yasue told the publication that even an animator from acclaimed animation studio Pixar said that “there’s no other game that’s this close to a movie.” There’s not much higher praise than that. Here’s what he said via machine translation:
Yasue: Thanks to everyone’s efforts, the quality has improved dramatically, and I think you’ll be able to feel that when you watch this trailer. Even an animator from Pixar praised it, saying, “There’s no other game that’s this close to a movie.”

And not to spoil anything with this leak but… Kingdom Hearts fans lets just say you might wanna keep your eyes peeled.. fan favorite sora might be making an appearance but you didn’t hear it from me 🫣
