Previews of Dragon’s Dogma 2 on Nintendo Switch 2 have started going live and one YouTube channel has fourteen minutes of footage of the game running on the Nintendo Switch 2. Unfortunately as with quite a few third party ports the framerate doesn’t seem great when running on the platform, but then again the game isn’t out for a while so there’s time to make it more stable. It seems amiss to not mention important things like frame rate. Overly negative is a little harsh? I did mention the game isn’t out until October, so there’s time to improve it.

I care less about frame rate reporting. It is a trivial thing to even comment on unless it is unstable. There is literally nothing wrong with 30fps.

So, the Switch 2 port releases the same day as the Dark Arisen dlc expansion on October 9th I guess, the video in the article is titled “Dark Arisen” the video mentions the Switch port and Dark Arisen.
Dragon’s Dogma II: Dark Arisen is a bundle that includes the base game along with its expansion. Similar to how Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen was the definitive edition of the first game, this version combines the original content with new features.
On other platforms, the Dark Arisen DLC for Dragon’s Dogma II is available separately, but on the Switch 2 it will be offered as a single package.
