Zelda Ocarina of Time remake codenamed Owl it uses ModuleSystem game engine same as Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

A few tidbits regarding the long-awaited The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake have appeared online. The game was previously known internally at Nintendo as Owl before the official announcement was made. The game uses Nintendo’s internal ModuleSystem game engine which is the same one used for the classic The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Therefore it appears that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake for the Nintendo Switch 2 was built off The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom engine.

  1. If you’ve played it, it shows (and I mean that as a compliment)

Definitely hitting all the nostalgic notes for me so far.
