Noam Jenkins, the voice actor that plays lead protagonist Aiden Pearce in Watch Dogs, has revealed on Twitter that the long-awaited game is not coming any sooner than May or June. The action packed title was originally meant to be released before Christmas 2013, but slipped as Ubisoft wanted to add more polish to the game before release.

well for me like with black flag and rayman the definitive (better) version is the wii u one since it has more features and the gamepad has maps and other things that are useful on it, might get this on wii u too. for ghosts I don’t think it has anything better or more fetaures on the wii u version.
the graphics really isn’t much of a difference.

I hope they take the time to actually get the frame rate steady and consistent on the Wii U version.
Ubisoft have released some great games on the Wii U, but they almost always struggle with the frame rate.
I hope they’ve cracked it this time. Assassins Creed 4 was a huge improvement frame rate wise over Assassins Creed 3, so here’s hoping they’ve mastered it by now.
Been waiting a year now, paid for a pre-order and still no game. Ubisoft you just lost my business for now hope this game is the shit, if not FUCK YO COUCH!!!

Not really. Smash Bros Brawl was delayed twice in North America and it didn’t turn out bad. Delaying a game makes it better, especially when Ubisoft said that they could have released the game last year, but wanted to perfect things.
For all we know they thought of something else they need to fix or add to perfect the game and it will take about four months (at this point in time) to complete. Then you have to take into consideration that they have to make the disks, the cases and sell them to stores. That takes time too.
well i’m not saying that this *will* be an issue, i’m just saying that it *could* be
very often such a delay can mean that the team has run into serious issues in making a compelling game.. this delay is probably not just caused because they wanted to polish it more, after all ubisoft games aren’t exactly known for being extremely polished
but it’s all just speculation i just wanted to bring that issue up

that time would have been included in the original launch date (in late 2013, probably november-december)
now we’re maybe looking at a ~5-7 months delay
I am really optimistic that this game will be a success. Or at least will be a great game. I don’t know if it’ll meat Ubisoft’s ridiculous sales expectations.
Well Q2 = April, May, June so that’s not surprising.
A smart move would be to heavily promote the game at E3 and release it the following week.

Metroid Other M was a complete surprise back then…
well other M was announced at e3 2009 (that’s the beginning of june) and released in fall of 2010
original release date was the end of june 2010 wich would have been just over 1 year after the announcement.
metroid prime 3 was revealed 2 years prior to release.. it’s one of nintendos most anticipated franchises.. they won’t wait til 6 months before release to announce it
