GameKeysNow is reporting that multiple sources have informed them that Ubisoft is gearing up to release Watch Dogs on April 25th. The game was originally meant to come out last Christmas, but was delayed by the company so that they could add more polish. The release date falls on a Friday, but there’s a trend of software products launching on the last working weekday of the week.

Yeas, the rumor about it being cancelled was caused by people jumping to conclusions. The disappearance of the Wii U version on GameStop Italy was due to an error in the system.

Ubi could just be like Nintendo and not release games on WiiU. I for one appreciate the games they’ve released. Nintendo set a shitty example for 3rd party. Nintendo ruined Pikmin and Mario 3D’s chance to revive WiiU by castrating online from their games. From many’s perspective, Nintendo has done nothing but release gimped software.
This is not the 80’s, and not everyone is living im a house with a family to play with. Nintendo’s killing great IP’s by leaving off Online.

Platformers online tend to be VERY annoying
Pikmin on the other side, offers a great chance for Online capabilitites
to add, ruined is not the correct word, as 3DWorld was amazing, even with no online fuctions.

Yeah, “Ruin” was a little harsh. I mainly meant they reduced the chance to get more sales by pulling people together to play online. Which also hurts replay.
