Jade Raymond, the Managing Director of Ubisoft Toronto, has told Adweek that Assassin’s Creed V won’t be set in feudal Japan, but will instead be set in her favourite historical era. Unfortunately Raymond wouldn’t divulge any further details on the historical setting.
Assassin’s Creed has explored the Crusades, the Renaissance, American Revolution and most recently pirates. The fifth installment will feature her favorite historical era, Raymond says, but she can’t even give a hint of what that is because it would ruin the surprise. She did dispel the rumor that it is set at the end of the samurai age in Japan. That said, she thinks that would be a cool idea.

We have one a year the last two years on the consoles and 1 original on the Vita. It would be nice to catch my breath before they start talking about another sequel.

though AC5(or 6 later) would be awesome based around that and if they had to do some of the sieges ect ect ect ect ect etc and fight on winged horses, though at the same time be a assassin. :D

they made pretty clear in AC4 (read the emails on the PCs you can hack) that a ww2 setting won’t happen anytime soon

WW2 is too mainstream, I reckon Napoleon era (especially considering that Ubisoft IS a French business) or maybe something really old, like ancient Greece. Honestly, I’m a bit sick of the focus of guns in games.

Make it be Egypt AND Greece, and the game will give you a choice as to which side the Assassin’s Order will be fully established, either with you killing Marc Antony, or you killing Cleopatra (she committed suicide in history, but come on, you as the Assassin might have…convinced her).

What about an outer space Assassin’s Creed based on Neptune! Imagine the being buffeted by 1300 mph winds, poisoned by the deadly methane, and frozen by those -210 degrees Celsius frigid surface temps. The goal would be too reach the 7000 degrees Celsius core, but even then, you would be crushed by the massive amount of pressure. In addition to that, you wouldn’t see shit that far into Neptune. It would be pitch black! Humans are so fragile!

They should make another series with the same overall game play as A.C., but takes place in modern times. Though seeing modern day police men chasing you doesn’t sound as exciting for some reason.
I’m currently playing Assassin’s Creed III (first time playing the series), and I’m totally lost in Boston. Where the HELL do I go? I’ve been wandering around on this stage for hours, killing people and stealing money (I love doing that. LOL), but I don’t know what I’m really supposed to be doing?

To be honest, I don’t think the next AC will be coming to the wiiu. It will most probably be made for the more powerful systems and judging by the sales of all the other ubisoft games, they don’t really have a reason to port it over. In the mean time you fanbous do what you do best , don’t support any developer when they release games and then later bash them when they stop supporting the wiiu

People say WWII, but I feel better with WWI about it. Idk, something just feels more right with it being for the first one. That said, I won’t complain either way. Assassins Creed games have never captured me for some reason, so I guess it doesn’t matter for me. I still like to see the historical references though
