Darksiders 2 Is Back Again On The Wii U eShop

Nordic games have confirmed via a press release that Darksiders 2 is once again available on the Wii U eShop. The game disappeared following the demise of developer THQ, but now Nordic owns the IP it’s available to purchase. The press release for the announcement began: “Yes, they do still exist: amazing games for the Wii U.”

  1. It would be awesome if Nordic could fix the technical problems of the Wii U version. At least the fatal glitches and the Gamepad unbelievable tearing when you use the Off-TV mode. And the just ridiculous grass popping on the main field of the forge lands.

      1. Well, then you got the only version that was perfect, because everyone else (even in better versions like PS360) experienced screen tearing, lot of popping, noticieable framerate drops and some bugs and glitches.

        1. Yeah, I know exactly what you mean, my PS3 version kept glitching and had ridiculous slowdowns. I even had to unplug my PS3 several times from all of the freezing. My friend told me that his version ran smoothly on his Wii U which is why I picked up the Wii U version afterwards and had no problems.

  2. I’d but it if they put the game on sale. The game is old now but it’s still 50 bucks yet any steam sale will sell for 10.

  3. I am getting this game in two weeks, when I get paid again. I have a year’s worth of Wii U games to catch up with: Darksiders II, Batman: Arkham Origins, SM3DW, Pikmin 3, W101, CoD: Black Ops II and Ghosts, and many more. So far I have Mass Effect 3, Batman: Arkham City, and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.
