Nintendo UK and McDonald’s announced last month that a new Super Mario Happy Meal promotion would be hitting the country later this year. Now, Nintendo UK has confirmed via press release that McDonald’s will be running the Super Mario collectible toys from March 19 until April 29.
Hidden within the Happy Meals, you’ll find Mario, Luigi, Toad, Yoshi or Donkey Kong, plus four of the collectible toys will be interactive, including Mario’s Hovering Coin, Donkey Kong Barrel Projector, a Super Sound Mushroom and Mario’s Warp Pipe Embosser.
The promotion is running in conjunction with healthy ties, featuring the slogan “Run, Jump and Power-Up,” which aims to get children active outdoors. With the promotion running for just over a month, kids and adults will have plenty time to collect the figurines. Will you try for a full set? Check out the gallery below to get a better look.

Can’t wait for these to go to my local McDonald’s here in Ireland to get these. Thankfully, I know the manager in it and I’ll buy a happy meal and pay him for the rest of them. Heck, I may even get them for free (hopefully) ! lol

I got nearly all of these here in Germany last year when they had them here, although they had Peach instead of Yoshi and the sitting Toad wasn’t available over here. The Donkey Kong is my favourite, he projects either a DK sign or a bunch of bananas against the wall.
I don’t even like McDonald’s, but I would totally get those if they came here to America.

Oh, nothing fake about it. I’m an American and can’t stand the place either thanks to my mom showing me that it’s just better to make your own food over eating at any fast food place from a young age. Not to mention the videos. That was a real eye opener. I could never eat at that place ever again, but I would buy the toys separately should they ever come here.
Obviously your mom gave you the reason and not you discovering it for yourself. So which of you found the problem? Sounds like they do some bad shit and or disgusting habits that you or your mother noticed. I can see how appreciating putting work into making your own food instead of paying people to do so but as the name implies, people eat fast food for it being prepared quickly. I prefer the amazing taste than the speed but I guess you could have more quality choice of how you want your food done when you’re preparing it.

Anyway, that’s pretty cool! Of course, US McDonald’s gets the real eye opener with My Little Pony figures coming soon. I would collect all of the MLP and Mario toys, but I’d be cutting it close. Instead, I’ll work towards getting my next Wii U game
