The official Wii U France page on Facebook has revealed that the Game Boy Advance Virtual Console will arrive on the Wii U on April 3rd. The first game to be made available for download is Advance Wars which is coming next week.

If Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga were to come on VC it would more likely come on the 3DS since all the other ML RPG games are on handhelds.

It’s the GBA game that I played the most by far. And i played plenty of them. The AI isn’t perfect, but if you want star status on the campange that really isn’t an issue.
Yeah I hate that the AI will ALWAYS go for a useless APC even when an infantry is halfway done capturing their HQ. Luckily they fixed that in later games. Such an awesome game though.

The decisive point here is the price, which will determine wether this is successful or just another set of overpriced ports (just like SNES games are. 8€ is just too much).
In Japan, these GBA games are priced at around 600 yen, which, roughly translates to 6€. More than that would be a fatal error and a missed chance to bring up customers in a moribund console.
