    These damn traitors!

This is what happens when you sonyans spend resources and time fighting our empire, the Apples are taking over!

        1. I play android games since they are free.

none are anywhere close console standard….BUT ninty should make ninty games on phones, give 1 floor dedicated to those :). I would play free dr Mario anytime with adds!

          1. I have Galaxy Note 3 and my Android was, as I expected before, was shit.

Compare to Apple and its app store, Google Play ain’t got shit but buttload of freemium crap that could have a deliberate virus or bug shoved into it to pry your private information and as for the device itswlf, I have never encountered this much inconsistency and hardware problems with any iOS device. My mother says Adroid is better but she had to swap her Galaxy S4 like..4 times already because of battery, hardware or its software issues. As for mine, I’ll just pay for the phone in full, resale it and get 5S.

          Your date?…

You have a Commander here that loves Nintendo and you hang around with an Apple?…

Apples always fall from the tree you know…

        Yes we should…

Although we are not at war, they are converting the weak-minded to their cause, leaving our empire with less income…

        1. I have a feeling they will be rivals soon, all that needs to happen is Apple to create a game console or Nintendo to make a smartphone.

                1. The Apple Bandai Pip Pin. It was pretty far ahead of its time. A lot of these “new” features that came with last gen systems were already on the Pip Pin in 1996/1997.

Not many systems were manufactured and not many games were developed for it. It got discontinued pretty quickly.

                1. Apple was both stupid to fire him and smart enough to bring him back knowing it was a huge mistake and that Apple needed Steve to stay alive.

          1. ninty creating asmarphone is the next step after QOL in the next gen.
though a apple iPlay that plays phone games onyour tv is NOT competition!
look it up…..I think its real……or a fan made thing but there is a actual video about it too ………

Well, the new generation of gamers are easily corrupted, it wouldn’t be won in a day…

      2. We know Apple and Nintendo aren’t competitors, i’m talking about do smartphones pose a threat to the 3DS, which in my opinion i don’t think they do. Others will disagree of course.

        1. daily returned slightly mad

In a way we could say smartphones are threat to 3DS and in a way they arent. Smartphones are takin away casual audience from 3DS, but then again core gamers are more into 3DS and Vita like systems. So its kinda like double edged sword, im kinda happy that 3DS has remained a great handheld for gamers. Its gamers dream handheld imo. Great titles and great value on that small thing.

        2. Yes. Smartphones and tablets are capable of much better graphics, and the games are getting better.

I game on my tablet, just pick up and play fun, generally tower defense or a zombie game. It’s not near as comfortable as my 3DS or Gamepad, but if Nintendo does not step up it’s game, they will be completely irrelevant before they know what hit them.

            1. Resident Evil Revelations! I love that game :) also he’s talking about 3DS games only, uncharted is a Vita game.

          1. Well some smartphones and tablet are more capable because they get a successor every year or so, 3DS is more than 3 years old and won’t get a successor in another 3-4 years.

  2. Nintendo are fine.
(just when its 80% release some phone games…….nothing console-worthy but maybe a super luigi jump instead of those jumpy games, dk minecart or Zelda fire temple run or something!)

also some such as PANEL DE PON or POKEMON BATTLE or DR LUIGI would be perfect puzzle games for touch screen!

free games with some adds………and 2/5 of those adds would be ninty ones ;D

    1. If we continue to ignorantly ignore phones and tablets as a competitive threat, console gaming will be finished.
It’s called Hubris. Nintendo can afford to suffer from it any longer.

I’d say people are overestimating humans…

They are way more retarded than we give them credit for…

Just look at the amount of trolls in here…

  3. Actually, this info is completely false. CyberAgent (or CyberZ) is notoriously known for making up false numbers in order to cause commotion among investors. Actually, last I read, they were found out for being paid off by an investor in order to draw attention to a certain marketshare. Just google search em. This info is a complete fabrication.

  4. (Explains why so many people bought an Xbox One and PS4).
Hard to believe how many people in this world like those super casual, crappy smartphone games. They’re like the casual of casual. Maybe that’s the secret reason why so many people aren’t buying a Wii U. Because the games aren’t casual enough.

When it comes to any kind of cellphone-like game, I don’t think I’ve ever played any, even once. I’ve never had any desire. They all look dumb. I’m a Nintendo gamer doggonit! Nintendo is the absolute only company who I believe knows what a video game really is.

Besides (unless smartphones are bigger), how can anyone play games on smartphones? Even on my cellphone, the buttons are so darn small that I keep accidentally pressing the wrong buttons. Playing a game would be a catastrophe.

  5. Wow, I’m losing faith in humanity. I know everyone is using smartphones and it is a lot cheaper games, but heck, unlockable smartphones cost more than an Xbox One, specially Iphones.

    1. And cell phone companies. Especially Apple, force their hardware to become obsolete through firmware updates so you have to replace it ever two years. It’s really ridiculous when you can get better quality gaming and additional longevity on a console.

It’s about convenience. Nintendo has got to keep the visual graphics on their handhelds competitive enough that it doesn’t look overly inferior to the technology everyone carries with them everywhere. (phones and tablets.)

  6. Nintendo needs to make mobile games, not port console games, mobile games that advertise the 3DS and Wii U.

  7. I’m scared that app games with in-app purchases are more lucrative than console games and that’s going to negatively affect console games. If you even buy a new copy of a console game it’s a one-time price. These app games that require jewels and crap for shorter waiting times, cooler items, etc are poking at your wallet each time you play.
I won’t be surprised the day I play Monopoly and I can get out of jail for one real dollar.
