There will be two Assassin’s Creed games coming this Christmas to consoles. The first is Assassin’s Creed Unity which is coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The second is currently known as Assassin’s Creed Comet, which Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot says will be coming to the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 this fall. Ubisoft also announced Far Cry 4 yesterday which is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

Can someone please help? My Assassin’s Creed IV won’t work on my Wii U. They’ll just state that there’s an error. When I tried to clean the disc there’s still an error screen. The screen said that the disc wasn’t clean, and I had this game for more than 4 months. I searched online but everyone just recommended changing it at the store which I bought it from, which I doubt they will allow. Please help! Do I have to my update my Wii U or something? Anything?

they should have been straightforward with it instead of these sly business tactics playing with the expectations of their customers
Its still not very good business, they burned allot of customers by producing half assed ports and yanking the rug out from other customers who wanted to purchase games. So it does mean loss sales cause a burnt customers, plus if they don’t put out products on a system that means no sales. It would be better if they were just smart about what they put out, limiting big hits or specially games like Child of Light. If you look at the 3DS they gave up on 44 million customers, which makes little sense and it looks like they are going to give up on the 6+ million customers on the Wii U. This seems like the prime time to put out a game or two.
Personally, while it won’t keep me from buying a really good game from them, I will think twice about what I purchase in the future on any platform I own.

Ubisoft has been deliberately screwing Wii U versions with a week or two delay in release after the PS360 versions have come out in my country. Leaving out the Wii U from exclusives and Limited Editions.

Simply they have nothing else to buy. It looks like crap to me too. I bought child of light, it was fun. I bought that in the hope that Ubi would develop artframe games for the WIi u. I hate all their big games. I hope Ubi crashes and burns and can only afford to make the small games. Ubi triple A titles, past the surface detail, basically use all the same mechanics. They are all boring.
well I have to say that after reading the pdf of FY14 earnings presentation i am not that thrill to play any ubisoft game. They want to be a facebook of the video game where they want to know what you eat, shit, breeze smoke, you hair colour, if you have a ball bigger than the other, optionally what video game you play. I am glad if they don’t release any software for the Wii U.
Please, if you’re going to report with bias, maybe shame Ubisoft for releasing two games in the same year (in an annual franchise).
Basically, Ubi is confident that gamers will come running to their teet to suck on rushed, same-story games. And just maybe Wii U owners have a more discernible palette.

Damn Ubisoft! I FINALLY start liking a game series that’s not first-party (Assassin’s Creed), and then they start betraying my newfound fandom by passing on the Wii U. I guess I’ll just have to stick with being a fan only of first party games forever.
I buy 1st & 3rd party titles on Nintendo consoles. I’ve always been interested in Assassin’s Creed, so I jumped at the chance of playing AC3 on the Wii U; it was my first game for the system, not counting Nintendo Land since it came with the console. And then they start to pull these bullshit business decisions: delaying Rayman Legends when it’s finished for the Wii U so it can go multiplat, releasing a month or 2 after it releases on the other consoles & now the bullshit with Watch_Dogs. Looks like I’ll just have to use the internet to find out what happens in future Assassin’s Creed titles with Juno. As for Watch_Dogs, I guess it will be my last Ubisoft game to ever bother buying, least brand new anyway. And that’s if I even bother to get the game. It’ll ultimately depend on the quality of it for Wii U. If the quality is shit, fuck the game & Ubisoft.
At least just make a direct port, don’t mess with the gamepad, and Voila! extra $$$. If anyone has miiverse please tell Nintendo they need more third party.

Yeah, I just finished Assassin’s Creed IV, and for the most part it was pretty fun. Except I was left just as confused as I was in A.C. III. I always have a hard time following the story in these games. I never could remember most characters names, and half of the time I didn’t even know what was going on. All of the pirate/British accents etc. didn’t help matters.

I picked up black flag it was ok, nothing crazy but it was fun, i lost interest a little quicker than i had hoped but its all good, i got it used so nbd, obviously the 2 new ones wont be much different(the whole series is the same game w/ little tweeks)…dont care
The games MIGHT be announced at E3 but if not i’m not mad. Ubisoft has been like that one friend who really likes football and wants to play with the other kids but has been at your house playing chess with you because you have a cast on your leg. Other kids stopped by to hang in the beginning but got bored of chess and quickly stopped visiting. Ubisoft kept coming over for a long time. They weren’t always on time but it’s better than nothing, especially when you don’t show any signs of ever wanting to play football even when the cast comes off. So let them go play. They may still come visit from time to time if they feel like playing chess again. But if you wanna keep friends you gotta be able to accommodate them a little better. Making them play your way, especially when they’re not so interested in the game you’re playing is a poor way to keep company.
Lol still, im not saying that not having third party support is okay i’m just saying the time for being butthurt by Ubisoft has passed. The time for that was when Rayman Legends went from being a 3rd Party exclusive (a very important launch window one too) to a multi-plat that came out way later than originally slated to. If people on other systems want games like Rayman Legends and Bayonetta 2 then they should’ve had to buy a Wii U just like if you want Gears of War you buy an Xbox or buying a PlayStation for LittleBigPlanet. That’s the point of exclusives, to define the appeal of that platform and make it a necessity for the targeted demographic. Ubi went for the money and put it on every platform which became a trend really fast and I get that people were pissed that they couldn’t play Legends (they still are with Bayo. 2) and you want your fans to have access, but if all these games people want but hate that they can’t play on their PS & Xbox are only on Wii U, even being a little “underpowered” spec wise wouldn’t have stopped the Wii U. It would’ve had the games, great 3rd party titles would’ve filled the gap between those iconic first party titles and people would’ve bit the bullet and bought one (and enjoyed it). Now, around a year later people are mad about big current gen multiplat games skipping Wii U, which currently has low sales/install base and less power than the other two big consoles this generation. Multiplatform games alone will never make a system. You need those AND really good 1st and 3rd party exclusives. And right now Wii U doesn’t have much of either but hopefully really soon they can turn that around- at least on the 1st party front.
All that said i’d love to play Fallout 4 and Far Cry 4 on Wii U. The GamePad being your Pip Boy screams genius and as deep as Far Cry goes interface wise putting the backpack stuff and the skill tree for leveling up all in your hands would be a good look for the game. Here’s hoping for epic E3 surprises.

Im actually quiet annoyed with Nintendo/Ubisoft …. The reason I bought a crappy Wii U was to play games like Cod and Assassins creed. Iv played the whole franchise of these titles and have enjoyed it best on the Wii U but not for the likes of Zelda and Mario (played, tried, hated then reimbursed), those games just dont do it for me as an Individual.
The Wii U console has so much potential to produce more, better games ie. Splatoon.
The Wii U for me at the time was Convenient for the gamepad play it’s a brilliant idea which the likes of other competitors wont do (Its not like others will want to use a tv at the same time and besides not all of us play in seperate rooms to be anti-sociable).
