For Wii U and 3DS owners in Europe, Nintendo has a few treats in store for fans this Thursday. With a big following, the Pokemon Trading Card Game for the Virtual Console hits the 3DS eShop and retails at a cracking price point of €4.99/£4.49. From July 10 until July 24, fans of the Wario Ware-styled game can grab the first of second – providing they own one of the two Remix games – for €6.99/£6.29 rather than the standard price of €9.99/£8.99. I’d rather like to see a new Pokémon Card Game on 3DS. I’m not a big fan of it, but I think it’s long overdue now.
“featuring more than 200 Pokemon cards based on the original decks, as well as new and exclusive cards”
Wait, what?
Could be referencing the cards that were only avaliable ingame.
Oh, I see. I forgot that there were a few game only cards. I think there were game-exclusive versions of Meowth and the legendary birds, but those are the only ones I remember.
Is this for na too ?
Yet to be confirmed. Hopefully we’ll hear on Thurs when the NA download press release comes through. :)
I loved the Pokemon Trading Card Game for GameBoy. I put so many hours into that collecting all the cards. I might have to play that later today just cause reading this makes me miss it.
Please for NA I’m a buy this for my 3DS since I got GTA 5. Next this well be on my list. Then smash bros bayonetta and other Nintendo goodies
I love that this news comes THE DAY I’m deciding to maybe restart my GB Cartridge version, looks like I’m buying this!! :D <3

Instead of this, they should make a 3ds port of the online trading card game and allow you to log into the account that you use for that.
I remember I loved that game as a kid. Until I saw that creepy guy dressed in black that scared the shit out of me.
