Euro eShop: Pokemon Trading Card Game For 3DS Virtual Console Available July 10

For Wii U and 3DS owners in Europe, Nintendo has a few treats in store for fans this Thursday. With a big following, the Pokemon Trading Card Game for the Virtual Console hits the 3DS eShop and retails at a cracking price point of €4.99/£4.49. So if you’d like to throw yourself back into a nostalgia cocoon for Pokemon TCG, featuring more than 200 Pokemon cards based on the original decks, as well as new and exclusive cards, you can do so on July 10.

Nintendo is also offering a special discount to those who have bought NES Remix or NES Remix 2. From July 10 until July 24, fans of the Wario Ware-styled game can grab the first of second – providing they own one of the two Remix games – for €6.99/£6.29 rather than the standard price of €9.99/£8.99. For all other offers beginning this Thursday, check out the list below.

  1. I’d rather like to see a new Pokémon Card Game on 3DS. I’m not a big fan of it, but I think it’s long overdue now.

      1. Oh, I see. I forgot that there were a few game only cards. I think there were game-exclusive versions of Meowth and the legendary birds, but those are the only ones I remember.

  3. I loved the Pokemon Trading Card Game for GameBoy. I put so many hours into that collecting all the cards. I might have to play that later today just cause reading this makes me miss it.

  5. Instead of this, they should make a 3ds port of the online trading card game and allow you to log into the account that you use for that.
