This week’s UK charts are now in courtesy of GFK Chart Track – a day later given the UK bank holiday yesterday. As usual, Tomodachi Life remains in the top 10, though slips four places and sits at 8 behind new chart-topper Diablo III Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition. But perhaps the biggest surprise lies with two Wii U games in the top 30 individual chart. While Mario Kart 8 falls from 14 to 22, New Super Mario Bros U re-enters at 27, perhaps due to a retailer deal or bundle.
Elsewhere in the top 40 individual chart, Pokemon X sticks at number 29, while its partner Pokemon Y falls to the bottom of the chart at 40. Below you’ll find the full top 40 individual chart.

Well Mario Kart 8 has finally be ousted away from the top 10 spots in the UK. September can’t get here soon enough as Mario Kart 8 now needs some serious back up from Hyrule Warriors.
I’ll be getting that game for sure.
I’m getting 2 copies of the Limited editions, so exciting!
The DLC will bounce it back and hopefully more MK8 updates in the future will.
So lovely to finally see the abomination Fifa 14 way down in the list…
Sorry to break it to you NC, but FIFA 15 launches next month, FIFA 14 did something amazing by staying in the top 40 for like a year now, I have to give EA props where they deserve it, which is barely never.
Do you always have to kill my small victories?…
…
At least PSN servers were sieged, you have that going for you.
Yes, that’s something…
They still work somewhat for me…
Again!? Are you sure? lol Wow. But it’s what they get for making their consoles closer to PCs than ever before. It makes them so much easier to hack & more vulnerable to viruses.
In UK, FIFA is like a God to those people. Soccer is huge over there so its no mystery why EA’s infamous spam does better over there. The UK charts is just laughable.
Wow, actually most of the games on the top of the list are okay, good or great! None of those yearly released games.
the thing to retain from this is that more Nintendo games (3DS or Wii U coming in the top 40).
And more hardware as well if we assume that super mario wii U re-enter in the top 40 is due to a bundle packaged with the hardware.
This also means that more hardware will lead to more sell for Wii u software which will re-appear more frequent in the chart. Hoping it’s just the beginning of the recovery for Nintendo.
Recovery for the WiiU. Nintendo is just fine.
Have to say the UK is notouriously harsh on nintendo (home consoles)
So having two in the top 40 is an achievement,in some twisted way.Nice to see Tomadochi has legs for 3DS though.Hyrule and Bayonetta should give a boost of sorts, fingers crossed.
The 3DS with Fantasy life, final fantasy explorers and a slew of marvelous forces in gaming is still running things I see. Who are the confused people still buying Titan fall?
Tales of Xillia 2 on the top 10 list? wtf what trick is this a jrpg making it that high on a uk list?
is this a trick a jrpg on the top 10 list of uk?
