      1. I love Nintendo, but yes, this is pathetic. I wish they’d actually put some effort into the online components of their games.

        1. Indeed. This is a perfect example of that their multiplayer games should be like. Offer both a local AND an online mode for games like 3D World, New Super Mario Bros and so many more.

The reply “we want to focus on friends and family having fun together in the same room” is just saying that they are lazy and don’t want to waste money on online servers. Really pathetic.

          1. Well i guess because Super Mario 3D World can be enjoyed by anyone and you will have no problem searching for someone who want to play, Bayonetta for the other side is the kind of game for lonely Fabboys: Dorks who loves my little pony and cutting their forearms with knifes.

            1. I have super mario 3D world on the Wii U and while the local mutliplayer is fun, there is absolutely no reason as to why Nintendo opted not to implement an online component. Nintendo needs to realize that sometimes not everyone has enough time to get together and play video games. Adding online to mario 3d world would only add to its value.

            2. Dude, what the hell is the matter with you? Different people like different games. Deal with it.

And by the way, unless my sister’s two kids come over and visit me, I do have a problem finding someone to play this game with. I also don’t want to waste money on multiple controllers when I should just use the one I got with the console and play with it online.

      2. I don’t know what you meant by “we can save one cent.”
But if you are in any way complaining about getting two, huge games for the price of one, you’re a moron. If that’s not what you meant, then my apologies.

          1. That is exactly what he meant. Comprehension is rare on MNN. FYI though, if you buy them seperate you will save more then a cent though, unless you’re not planning to pay tax.

        1. I think he meant Nintendo not wanting to invest money on online in most of their games. Sort of them cutting corners when it comes to online features. I don’t think he was in any way referring to Bayonetta 2.

        1. This game always looked boring and stupid to me, but I have to admit it caught my attention now. It has a lot of content. You can customize your weapons and even your outfit. Choosing nintendo outfits, like the samus outfit for example, gives you samus’s moves and weapons. It’s almost like a new character. Then there’s online co-op. I think I heard it was a competition too, which I like since I enjoy competing with other people. Gonna get this game now, probably a day 1 purchase

        1. I’d be more likely to buy the Pikmin 3 DLC if there was online co-op/competitive play. But since I’ll only be able to enjoy it by myself, I haven’t even touched the free levels that were added, much less pay for the ones that cost money.

        1. Watch the Hyrule Warriors videos in the eShop with a very good HD TV then you can say if it’s truly ugly. Of course, it’d still be your opinion because the game looks great to me.

  2. I love this game, but really NO local multiplayer damn… Nintendo can’t seem to do flawlessly this days, so close though…

  3. Wait. No local play what so ever!? This game is Hyrule Warrior’s polar opposite in more than just the rating! xD
