The very same individual who apparently discovered the existence of the Duck Hunt Duo Amiibo has now found a Mr Game & Watch Amiibo hidden within Super Smash Bros. You can check it all out in the video embedded above and decide if you think it’s legitimate or not.

  2. Please stop posting articles like this, Nintendo have already confirmed that ALL characters in Smash Bros 4 will have an Amiibo, the real question should be;

  4. Theoretically speaking it would be impossible to make a G&W amiibo since he’s 2 dimensional. Oh well, maybe it’ll be like a really thin and bendy piece of plastic and would be ridiculous to have a defect. If it does… Ugh

    1. He’s a 3D model in Melee at least and probably the others too. And even if he wasn’t, the amiibo would just be really thin.

      2. I believe the trophy description says he’s 2D. I might be wrong though. Can anyone imagine of a ‘defect’ for game and watch? It’ll be hilarious :)

  7. You people do know that this amiibo data is being hack. How else would they get this data. This is a NFC hack. We all know game and watch is confirmed and others are confirmed. Your missing the fucking reason of why this is being posted.

      1. I don’t know. But heard the skylander toy where being hack as well. Its something about. Decrypting the data inside the amiibo and sending that data any NFC card. I’m guessing if all data is on disc, amiibo data hacking could be fairly easy. (For those with experience.)

        1. i bet its cheaper than buying all of them though, heck I could probably use my amiibo money and take some sort of hackers 101. then i’d never need to buy them! (evil laugh again!) XD

          1. Cheapest way to NFC hack is buy a android with a NFC reader option. Learn how to decrypt amiibo data or wait for someone to release all amiibo data and bam!! You have all the amiibo before they even release. Just google skylander hacking. It might teach you something if your serious about this. I doubt it though. Just don’t get caught😂

    2. He is not emulating smash but rather the Wii U Gamepad on linux along with a real console. If you look at his YouTube he has open sourced the Wii U Gamepad emualtor, he probably modified his code somehow to bring in NFC data.

      TLDR: He’s emulating the GamePad, not the Wii U

    2. All characters have already been confirmed by Nintendo to be getting amiibos. It was confirmed a LONG time ago.

  15. They announced months ago that amiibos will be made for every character…. why do people care about this news? It is a given that any hacker will find this. I will spare you future news articles and just say that any character that has yet to have an amiibo announced has…. dun Dun DUNNNN!!! Amiibos data in the game…
