Want the New Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Edition but didn’t get an email from Club Nintendo? Well no worries, you can pick one up from eBay. However you should be warned that they’re selling for up to £400 at the moment if you chose the Buy It Now option from multiple sellers. The New Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Edition is available to a select few Club Nintendo members for £179.99. I hope a few of you got an email from Nintendo this morning.

  1. Still refreshing my mailbox :/ If someone in France, let me know, I’m looking for someone who can buy it and doesn’t want it. I pay and get the delivery and he gets 50e from me.

  2. Well I got an email put it in my basket hopefully it will stay there >.< eight now I don't have the funds to buy it :(

  3. I got an email this morning, but i’m not sure if I should buy it. I already have a 3ds xl and this one is a normal sized one. Do you think I could make a profit out of it that makes it worthwile??

    1. I think yes. I got the mail too, and I’m also planning to buy it just to sell it again. Sometimes people are willing to spend more than enough money on something they want, if that means they can get it earlier than everyone else. So I’d say chances for making good profit with it aren’t too slim.

        1. Well, since I’m not interested in owning a new 3DS, taking the chance and turning it into extra money is the best I can do. I mean, I can’t just leave that mail untouched and watch it turn invalid on the 13th, can I? That would be so so inconsiderate! ;)

              1. …What a ripoff. Anyways, I don’t really like when people do that kind of stuff. But it’s your decision. Feel free to sell it. Even if you do plan on selling it for a ridiculous price, I’m sure there’s someone desperate enough that will fork over the cash. Lmao.

                1. I don’t think it’s very likely that people will buy it for that much money. The one offered for 400£ wasn’t even sold. Honestly, I’d even be happy with getting just 100€ out of it, I don’t plan on aiming too high, lmao.
But yea, I might not be selling it after all, I’m still unsure about it. I think it’s possible that Nintendo might announce a release date for the new models right after the 12th January (which is the deadline for ordering the special edition), and if the date isn’t too far away, people won’t pay enough to make the trouble of buying + selling it worth it.
But oh well, I still have a few days to think about it. :p

                  1. I think you would be better off keeping it to be honest. Then just sell your old one. That way you can play Xenoblade Chronicles. :P

                    1. Hm, I don’t know. I’m not really a fan of selling my old consoles because I feel kinda attached to each one of them, lmao. But yea, I might consider it.
