Great news for those of you who are looking forward to Xenoblade Chronicles X as the developer has tweeted that the game is in the final stages of development. Because of this, the team says they will share more information about the game over the coming months. Monolith Soft wouldn’t say if we are getting a simultaneous worldwide release, but that would certainly be neat.

Zelda looks huge, but the original Xenoblade’s world was approximately the size of the Japan archipelago. Xenoblade X’s world is confirmed to be more than 5 times the size of the original Xenoblade’s world.

It’s possible to run straight all the way from one end to the other in 8 hours it would take around 400 hours to jog straight from one end of japan to the other long wise it takes over 34 hours driving; it’s a lot bigger than you think. So what you said is grossly blown out of proportion. There will never be a game as big as Japan in scale.

If X is really 5 times bigger than it should take 40 hours to run straight across it, which would make it as big as Japan; driving wise anyway, and that would be an insane scale for a game. o.O

Yes the characters speed, and no they are not equipped with quickstep gems. Accurately it takes 8 real time hours to have the party run in the straightest possible line from the leg of the bionis to the mechonis head. There are ways to go faster however.

Gotta disagree with you there! I played through regular and Hero Mode. And it took me back to my nostalgic gaming roots. Hero Mode was the perfect difficulty, while regular mode let everyone play. I through it was so much fjn and made me feel like a kid again. Sorry you didn’t like it!

Mass Effect 3 was extremely well done. Monster Hunter Port was amazing, granted, some of the smaller Indie titles have beem far more fun for me than Destiny and other “large scale” games. I think you’re judging fun by size. Yoda would not approve.

I own a Xbox One and a gaming PC along with my Wii U and 3DS (and soon to be New 3DS) but the PS4 doesn’t have an exclusive that makes me want to buy that console. Maybe if Uncharted 4 is everything it’s cracked up to be I’ll consider getting one but as of this moment I’m not interested and to be honest I’m strongly considering trading in my Xbox One since all I only own are 2 exclusives (Sunset Overdrive and the Halo: Master Chief Collection)

Beating the game is not hard, just do some few quests and some little grind and you are done.The only times you will need to be an expert is the optional bosses which are quute strong

Your characters auto-attack constantly; your only role is deciding where you stand and what skills you use.
For instance, Back Slash will, obviously, be more effective from behind, so get away from the enemy, let Reyn pull their aggro to him, then hit them from behind with it when they’re distracted.
Sometimes, after a critical hit lands, you’ll see a button prompt with a circle around it, surrounded by a quickly-shrinking ring around it appear on-screen. Wait till the ring is close to matching up with the circle to press the button; the closer it is, the better the result you’ll get, and the more your tension will build, which affects how often your teammates will be able to land crits and perform certain actions mid-combat.[you can raise their tension if it falls too low by approaching them and pressing the A button, I believe]
Your unity meter is basically like your “special action gauge”.
It’s a multipurpose bar that does many things, from allowing you to revive people to letting you see future visions and “warn” your comrades [by approaching them once a vision appears] so that you can order them to use a specific move to help counter the vision.
It’s also used for certain special attacks that require all three party members to attack at once.
All of that and much more is described in the in-game manual, but I’m sure you could find a Youtube video to teach you the basics, too.

A worldwide simultaneous release is in the best interest of the company. They will sell more copies of the game faster. Release it in Japan first, spoilers start popping up on the internet, people lose hype and interest and it negatively effects sales of the game when it finally releases everywhere else… It amazes me that companies do not know this yet… Back when the internet was in it’s infancy, this was not the case. Now, it is.. Don’t be stupid Monolith…
Um, I don’t think companies do that because they want to. I don’t know how much dialogue Xenoblade X has, but if it has as much as the first one (if not more), then that’s ALOT to translate. It’s even worse for Europe who has multiple languages to account for.
It really just depend on when they started translating. I don’t expect them to hold off on releasing it in Japan if they can’t translate it fast enough.
I’m not convinced thats why companies release in Japan first. Maybe some do. To my knowledge MH4U has been completed for some time now and Capcom hasn’t even announced a release date yet. And i personally know people who bought a japanese 3ds for that game alone. And another example is Hyrule Warriors. You could buy the Japanese version of the game, and you could change the text to English. So you know it wasn’t translation that was delaying the western release..

Your mostly wandering through vast expanses and fighting things with a sword in the game. It has an Immersive plot, and the Mechonis only enhances that plot; it would be much weaker without that aspect, and I don’t think you actually gave it a chance based on what you said… The sci-fi is actually not played up that much. Though it does look like there is a lot more of it in Xenoblade X I’ll admit, but to me that’s not a weakness it’s a strength. Also, Zelda doesn’t count as an RPG. It tis an adventure game; apples to oranges my friend. ;) It’s not better per say just different.
Zelda has always been an RPG. Always has and always will. But it’s the GOOD kind of RPG. I despise pretty much anything that’s sci-fi (or goes too far with special effects, like most CG movies). I don’t have to play it or watch it to know I don’t like it. The opening story alone (and some of the stories that followed) in Xenoblade was enough to turn me against the game. Plus I didn’t like the characters or the battle system. The battle system ruins SO many games for me. That’s what I hated about Tales Of Symphonia. I just couldn’t get into it.

By the way Okami is better than Zelda too, and also, Zelda is not an RPG. You don’t gain experience and level up, fighting enemies is basically an exercise in futility since you don’t really get anything for doing it. The story doesn’t have the depth of a true RPG especially since Link doesn’t talk and gets no party members. Real RPGs can be carried by the strength of their character dynamics alone, Zelda is not that.
That said I am a fan of Zelda, and Skyward Sword was my favorite Zelda game, because of the engaging battle system and it had more story; go figure. I am under no delusions that it is an RPG. The genre is adventure plain and simple. RPGS have statistics period.
Anyway it’s obvious that I won’t change your mind, so I will not waste anymore of either of our times and I will bow out. JRPGS FTW. :p

And BTW fool, I don’t have nor play only Nintendo games. I have a PS3 and unfortunately that Red Ring paywall Xbox 360 too. I’ve played them all and hardly any of them are as enjoyable as Nintendo for a good reason; not just Nintendo being their first but they make sure their games are as enjoyable as possible. Not saying Sony can’t deliver either. They got good games and Xbox..only a few but truth be told they almost always offer the same shit and I’m not talking about just shooters. But everything in realism that just sucks the imagination away. It can get boring and stale fairly quickly if it doesn’t have enough of that imagination.

Good. Now you’re starting to make more sense. The problem isn’t really that Xbox and PS only offer the same thing. It’s the fact that what they offer does not appeal to you as much as Nintendo’s games do. As for me, I do like Nintendo games but they are not enough and they just don’t cut it. I need more variety than that. I don’t want to just play Smash, Mario, Zelda etc. I need to also have racers, fighters, FPS, RPG’s, etc. It is EXTREMELY annoying that I can’t play Tekken 7, Mortal Kombat X, MGSV, FFXV, Witcher 3, and Arkham Knight on Wii U. If Nintendo had these games on their system, I would have no reason to get a PS4 or Xbox One. And as much as I like Nintendo games, the lack of these third party games is really disappointing. I don’t buy every Nintendo game that comes out and there’s only a few I usually get so there has to be some third party to make up for that. This is the second time I’ve went through this with a Nintendo system (the first being the Wii) Although there are a couple of issues I have with the Wii U, if it had all those third party games that I want, then it would more than make up for those problems!
Ok, first of all, you don’t even know what I was laughing at. I do agree that Wii U would’ve gotten a sales boost. And I do think Zelda needs a bundle. But of course, being the fanboy you are, you probably thought that I was trying to hate on Nintendo. XD
Even better, make a limited edition gold Wii U and Gamepad w/Zelda U and a gold Wii Pro Controller on the side. That’ll ensure a lot of sales as well.
I bought a Wii for Xenoblade Chronicles and played 150 hours in 2 playthroughs. Bought the soundtrack. Game AND soundtrack are still my favourite RPG I’ve played so far. Already have a Wii U and damn, am I looking forward to this!! :D

That’s not what I was laughing at. Even I myself want this game. Personally, I could care less about how Wii U sells because Nintendo already messed it up to me. Even if it just magically started moving millions of units somehow and just miraculously outsold the PS4, I still would not care. Because they lost basically every bit of third party support they had and I’m getting tired of them not listening and constantly doing stupid stuff like making underpowered consoles and not including an actual universal account system. If the Wii U actually had a universal account system, I could’ve just went and bought a brand new Wii U and started playing there. But of course, I have to go through the BS of sending it in for a repair first and HOPE that they actual fix it and not delete my data. They even told me that there was no guarantee that my data would still be there. So now I have to wait until they send it back and THEN I have to go buy the new Wii U while still keeping my old one so I can transfer the data between the two. Which I am sure as hell not doing. The next time my Wii U fucks up needs another repair, I am not sending it in. I’m just going to buy a different console and be done with it.

The wait is nearly finished i was hoping a release for november 2014 but May 2015 will be fine. I just hope they did not rush the game and it will be as good as xenoblade.
