UK Charts: Captain Toad Slips Out Of Top 40, Super Smash Bros Is A Non-Mover

This week’s UK individual charts are now in courtesy of GFK Chart-Track and UKIE. It’s a crying shame for Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker as the solo adventure slips out of the top 40 entirely after its wonderful debut at 14 last week. Perhaps the Captain is off snoozing somewhere while many multi-platform games continue to dominate the chart, including Grand Theft Auto V, which refuses to budge from the top spot for its fourth consecutive week, and is closely followed by FIFA 15 and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Further down the chart, Super Smash Bros – now the only remaining Wii U title – is a non-mover at 32, while Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire hover either aside at 35 and 30, respectively. You can take a look at the UK top 40 individual chart in full below.

      1. Look at the where the chart is from. It’s from the U.K. Most of the people here, prefer Micosoft and Sony platforms and Microsoft/Sony First/Second Party games and mainly Third Party titles. Plus, what do you expect from the people that bought the broken Assassins Creed Unity, to the extent that it is that high up the list. Yes, the other games in the Top 10 aren’t broken beyond belief, but that doesn’t excuse how well Unity has sold. Also remember this-Xbox One, PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360 have a much higher install base here in the U.K compared to the Wii U. Know your facts the next time you decide to take your head out from being buried in your ass, before commenting on here again. Do I make myself clear…now sod off…

      2. Ironically, Assassin’s Creed Unity is the only game on the entire list that I wish I could play, but can’t because I don’t have an Xbone or PS4.

      3. Well, I don’t know what sort of “bugs” the game has. But I loved Assassin’s Creed III and IV, and really wished I could continue playing the series. It’s ironic. I finally started liking a game series that was normally an Xbox/Playstation series. Then Ubisoft stops making it on the Wii U. It’s like I wasn’t meant to leave the land of Mario and Zelda.

      4. Don’t listen. Unity has been getting patches so broken it is no more. I have it (since it was bundled with my xbox one) but can’t play everyday since I have so many other games to play.

      5. and where exactly is the Wii U dominating? because if the XBO, 360, PS3, & PS4 are dominating the NA, and EU market, were is the Wii U dominating because its not even doing good in Japan. 3DS is the king over there with the Vita right behind it.

    1. I don’t get sick seeing the U.K list. Why? Simple, because it’s what I’ve come to expect. I do say, it does boil my blood seeing that the crap make it in the top 10 every bloody (no pun intended) week…

      1. I dont mind GTA5 at all. It deserves its spot but everything else is typically broken and rushed “cash grab” pieces of shit on a disc.

    2. Also, I’m from the U.K and I swear, not everybody here are idiots, it’s just the government are completely clueless about what’s right and what’s wrong. Last time I checked, the U.K was in a £4 Trillion debt to other countries and instead of using the tax money from hardworking people like myself snd my family, they use it to bring Eastern Europeans over here, mainly Poland and Slovakia and literally give the majority of them money to just simply sit on their backsides, doing absolutely nothing. Note this is coming from the tax of those that actually work, it’s ridiculous has stupid our goverment is here. So in conclusion this list, what do you expect when the government are so idiotic…

      1. But first, the government needs to be eradicated. Every single time I see that waste of space David Cameron appear on the T.V screen, or in the newspaper, I seriously can’t help but say, ‘Get that stupid dumbass out of power already.’ It’s so bad, that while some were without power last year due to floods, that pathetic waste of time, David Cameron, was enjoying using taxpayers money, to spend some time at the beach, somewhere hot, seriously, this guy has no shame that he is enjoying his time on a hot beach, while some were without power and in the cold, suffering. What a heartless git. I hope dies a slow and painful death, while does that had suffered under his reign, laugh at his misery. Also, another case of the government being stupid, about a month ago, during a government meeting, a MP, decided he was bored and started playing Candy Crush Saga, on a taxpayers, payed IPad. Seriously, this government has no shame, or braincells at all…

      3. totally disagree with you about the immigration about the polish or Eastern Europe immigrant. We all know the chav are British, and if there is a massive immigration in UK is cause lazy b***** watching jeremy Kyle on their 50″ TV smoking class drug C and does not even bother to go and sign on. So they needs so people to do the job the brits don’t want to do and are pay next to nothing. By the way It would not be far from the true to say FIFA and COD are games playing by Chaves and teenagers hence the ranking.

      4. And you know this how? I’m not saying all of the Eastern Europeans that come into the country sit on their backsides doing nothing and getting paid for it, some do work and work and work their shifts and get paid accordingly and I respect them for not taking advantage of what the goverment are doing. Like I said on the previous comment, it’s most of them, not all of them…

      5. Well if you look at the national stastic and there have been a lot of papers on that. Immigrants bring 4 billions in the economy and cost 250 millions. That’s all i am saying, the site is for video and i will stop the politic here. But at least acknowledge it not iust immigrants but also british who bloody milk the system. To got back to my point, don’t you think the top40 UK is due to chaves buying those games?

  1. *shrug* If this keeps up, the UK is doomed to have nothing but FPS & Fifa games to play. In which case, the UK will have a video game crash at some point as they get tired of the same crap which they themselves brought upon themselves.
