Here’s The All-Important Amiibo Compatibility Chart

amiibo_comp_chart

Twitter user MoldyClay64 has updated his previous Amiibo compatibility chart in accordance to the Amiibo support recently detailed by Nintendo. So if you’re wondering which Amiibo work with which game, then this chart should prove useful. The chart is admittedly a little on the small side, but it should make sense.

    1. Kirby lets you use the dash thing any time you want, meta knight speeds up your dash and deedee gives you more health, going from 3 to 6. They can only be used once a day making them act more like cheats to get you through a hard level

    1. Why? They don’t take away from the game. And they add a neat bonus if you own one. In fact, I wish Amiibo would impact all the other Nintendo games in that manner. And besides, the game comes bundled with an Amiibo.

      1. That’s true, but I felt like it should have been a mode that came included with the game. Its a neat amiibo feature but at the same time it sucks that you have to have them all to experience all the stages. I rather it be like one amiibo unlocks all the stages but you can only play as the amiibo you have. Otherwise you would have to pay a full $60+ to experience the mode fully. It may only be a side game mode but the fact that it’ll require x amount of dollars to fully experience it is just wrong. What if I can’t find a certain amiibo then what? If Nintendo would at least offer the boards as DLC in the eshop (not that it makes it any better) that would at least alleviate the pain of buying/searching for every amiibo or whatever but knowing Nintendo they probably won’t.

    1. Yes. Remember when people thought that the toad amiibo would unlock exclusive levels in Captain Toad? I find it hilarious.

  1. anybody else think that amiibo kinda suck now? :/ I mean I keep waiting for cool uses to be announced for these things but they’re so insignificant, I actually wish this time that nintendo would’ve copied skylanders and infinity by making their own sandbox game.

    1. More than likely they are in the middle of development for a game like that as we speak. And Amiibos have only been out for a couple months, kinda harsh of you to give up on them so quickly.

I actually love the Amiibo functionality in Code Name Steam. In fact, that alone has convinced me to buy the game. And Mario Party 10 also has good Amiibo functionality.. Smash as well. So thats three game that have great Amiibo support, and it’s only been two months.. I just think you are expecting too much from every game. Not every Nintendo game will have great Amiibo compatibility.

      1. wow I forgot that they’ve only been out for such a short time… it’s just felt like forever, searching sites going to stores constantly to try to find the ones i’ve wanted and then be left waiting for them to make the games so I can do more things with them has completely burnt me out. I’m sorry I wasn’t trying to pass my opinion off as fact, but I’m sure there must be others who feel this way about them now, i’m just burnt out..

  2. Three years later, there will be a Splatoon series, Zelda series, Starfox series, Kirby series, F-Zero series.

NINTENDO DON’T MILK AMIIBO YOU COULD HAVE JUST STUCK WITH THE SMASH BROS SERIES AND USED THAT INSTEAD. WHY?!?!?!?!?!

    1. Oh shut the fuck up. They need the money, its not like you need them to play the games. I think it’s great that people can get more out of them. You’re probably just pissed they are so hard to get where you live. Or you simply can’t afford them all. Shucks for you. You’ll still have the game to play. I don’t see why it’s such a horrible thing. Seriously, you don’t need them. They are cool, extra content, collectibles. Nothing more.

        1. They seem to be upset that others aren’t impressed by Nintendo’s glorified DLC figures that are only selling well due to stock issues, lol.

      1. I have 5 of them and will probably preorder some more, but what I’m saying is that the exact same amiibo (mario series) is kind of useless and nintendo could have offered a way to save the amiibo data somewhere to use it for another game without formatting it. Your mentality level is too low to calculate that it makes me sad. Shucks for you kid, you had potential that has been wasted on bashing the opinions of people on the internet. No hard feelings kid that hides behind his/her parents and has free access to money and calls someone on this site “poor and lives in a sucky location” behind his/her screen on a good computer or pricey mobile phone… Spoiled. If you’re an adult, that’s even worse. Get a physiologist.
