Best Buy Cancelling Zelda Majora’s Mask New Nintendo 3DS Consoles If Ordered More Than One

Looks like US retail chain Best Buy is cracking down on scalpers who are trying to make a quick buck off the back of the Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D limited edition New Nintendo 3DS. Reports are going round the internet stating that Best Buy is cancelling orders if you ordered more than one console. That means that everyone is only allowed to purchase one console per customer to crack down on inflated eBay prices. We already heard GameStop is doing a similar scheme.

Thanks, Kyle

    1. Sasori has 6 MM new 3ds’s up for sale for only 375 on ebay if interested. Obinna will hook you up if you have the duckets

    1. I did the same for my brother, who was sleeping at the time the preorder was available, because of his work schedule. Thanks to the scalpers, people trying to do others a favor get screwed.

  1. It’s really simple. Take preorders, then make and ship. This way everyone who wants one gets one and there is no ebay hoarders selling until people decide they want one down the line. Easy as pie if companies wanted to do this, but they don’t. Ebgames said they were cancelling orders, but they never did. It’s all BS.

  2. Now if they could do the same thing for Amiibos, maybe we wouldn’t be having this situation where certain figures are hard to find!

  3. Lol considering that all the scalpers online bought their systems at best buy, this is pretty amusing to watch them squirm to refund money to idiots buying them from them to begin with.

  4. The way this page loaded for me was so troll that I could only read the following:

almost threw a bitch fit but luckily I calmed down and was like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  5. Well, it’s in the retailers best interest to crackdown on these scams. If consumers are getting scalped 60 bucks for a frigging MetaKnight Amiibo, thats less money being spent at their stores. Good for them…

  6. Nintemdo may not have a good relationship with 3rd parties, but they have a damn good relationship with retailers.

    1. TBH…Nintendo don’t really care about scalpers, in quote this what a Nintendo representative has to say about the matter….”We also empathize with seeing those same limited edition products pop up on auction sites. Once consumers buy a product they are free to re-sell it if they wish.”

What you’re really seeing here comes from the goodness of the retailers themselves.

  7. If they were going to pull this crap they should’ve done it when the preorders were being placed. Ah well, at least maybe now I’ll have a chance to get one and double down!

  8. If they can do this for Gamestop, can Nintendo do the same for Amiibo so they can stop that specific jackass buying shittons of Rosalina Amiibos as some dumbass hellbent payback stunt on people who like her solely because he doesn’t?

  9. Rigthnow there are some pit’s available but it only lets you get 1 per order, idk if it’s witht the card that purchased it or the place its being shipped.

  10. I’m happy and proud of every store that cracks down on jackass scalpers. It’s about time something was done. It should stay this way for ANYTHING that becomes available for pre-order.

  11. I gladly stand corrected in regards to EBGAMES at least. They either had more made or cancelled peoples mh4u n3ds xl as it’s available for pre-order again.
