Bowser has proved to be a popular Amiibo so it’s no surprise that he’s sold out everywhere. Thankfully, US retail chain Target have got Bowser available to purchase on their website, so if you want to add him to your collection you had better be quick. He retails for $12.99.

Is he really that popular? I’m surprised because I just meandered into Toys R Us the other day and there were 3 of them hanging on the shelf. I though maybe he was the Mario of wave 3.
He is but he’ll be hard to find right now (because all of wave 3 is hard to find right now)
According to all the employees of every store I’ve been to in search of Wave 3, everyone was undershipped by nintendo, so not all preorders can be fullfilled yet, and on top of that more shipments to fill the rest and leave a little bit of stock for the shelves are delayed to either Feb 20th or Feb 28th, I was given both dates by various stores by phone and in person…….Nintendo’s just throwing pure salt on the crowd at this point.
that’s really foolish of them. stores will not continue to stock these and take pre orders for these items if they are left taking heat from customers because nintendo failed to get them the product they ordered.

Why can’t we get a Bowser VS Wario IP? An RPG like the Paper Mario games but not paper. Choose between playing as Bowser or Wario and go on a quest to gather up treasure, save minions, maybe a sidekick (Kamek or Waluigi)… not sure about turn based battles though.
Maybe one where they explain and show how Bowser managed to snag Peach all the time. All the levels could be mushroom kingdom related, and he could curb stomp toads instead of Koopas! : D

Bowser? Sold out everywhere you say? I’ve been to 11 gamestops, 4 toysruses, 2 targets, 3 best buys, 3 sources, 2 future shops and a local game store that stocks amiibos, and the only amiibos that weren’t sold out from preorders that were on the shelves were Bowsers. More Bowsers were on the shelves in all of these stores than marios. Sold out mah butt.

YAY! I just got Rosalina and Sheik. So happy, I don’t have to check every single day for Rosalina anymore… Crazy though, there was a line of people for her but luckily Target had 22 of them.

Phew.. Talking to myself at this point, but what a relief.. I got every exclusive covered now. Lucario just shipped yesterday also, can’t wait to get him in the mail.

I got to Target at 8 when they opened and they was a 10 person line just for Rosalina’s. I got mine and so did everyone else there. I’m happy I got up early for it but I’ll be happy sleeping in next weekend.
I was the first person this morning to get a Rosalina and Bowser at my local Target and I got there at 8:25… 25 minutes after they opened. This is one of the very few perks living in Upstate NY.
Bowser is an amazing work of art for $13. I’m actually quite stunned.

Bowser is fairly easy to find here in Texas thus far. Good luck finding Sheik though. Even Toon Link is hard to find. Grabbed Rosalina and Toon Link today from my local Target and the guy was like “we have multiple Bowsers.” They only had one Rosalina and Toonlink and they only had one Sheik but it sold out in the first 15 minutes of the store opening. You might want to grab Bowser now, because they may replace this Bowser with the Mario Series Bowser Amiibo on most store shelves. My advice, buy it when you see it.
The amiibo thing has a been a big pile of stink for Nintendo fans.

Most stores lately have all been limiting how many you can buy. Most likely due to peoples concerns over scalping.

I walked into my local GameStop and got Bowser two days ago. I walked into my local Target at around 8:30am and they had like ten to twelve total Rosalinas on display. No lines, no nothing, just strolled in picked it off the wall. Easy Peasy.
That is very rare, and you should consider yourself lucky.
I think it had to do with a few factors. I live in a city (Louisville KY) that has multiple Target stores and I went to the one that is pretty dead on a Sunday morning. Also, I work third shift so I am up at that time normally.
I went to Target at 8:30am. Didn’t see a line. No Nintendo fans anywhere at all. No employees were anywhere near electronics. There was one customer leaving the store when I walked in. I had the entire store to myself. Total time to find the Rosalina and pay for it: Three minutes, tops. I wish some of you would’ve had it as easy as I did here.
I finally got Pit delivered yesterday, but trying to buy all these amiibos can be a pain. Thankfully Rosalina isn’t my favorite so I don’t mind that I didn’t get her
*shrug* Don’t care. Pit has already been shipped to me as Gamestop took their money out of my account yesterday, and I got Shulk already preordered so I’m good when it comes to amiibo right now.
