Multiple users on Twitter, including celebrities, have pointed out that Katy Perry wore a Wii Remote wrist strap during the Super Bowl halftime show last night. The strap was tied to the Firework singer’s wireless microphone, which some viewers jokingly said was a Wii Remote in disguise. Perry even tightened the band using its strap lock, which could’ve prevented the mic from falling out of her hand and to the ground during her performance.

If Nintendo wants us to pay big for the GC controller adapter, they need to make it worth the purchase by making it compatible with more games and apps than just Super Smash Bros. 4. Heck the VC really needs to be compatible with this especially if GameCube games are plan for it soon, if not then it will suck. I mean this thing is already in my list of pointless products that are not worth the money alongside past products like the Sega 32X, Xbox Kinect, PlayStation Move, Game.com, the GameCube Modem Adapter, the 64DD, the Jaguar CD (which hardly ever work), the Power Glove, Sony’s 3D glasses, the Wii Motion Plus dongle (if you bought the Wii Remote with Motion Plus built in, you don’t need this), and the Sega Activator.
