Itagaki Believes That Fatal Frame V Wii U Will Be Localised

Former Team Ninja member Tomonobu Itagaki has strongly hinted on Facebook that we may see a localised version of Fatal Frame V for Wii U. It should be noted that Itagaki has no relation to the title, but he is friends with Kikuchi Keisuke. This should be taken as a rumour at present simply because Koei Tecmo has said that the game is for the Japanese audience only. However, Nintendo could step in and localise it.

“Hey guys, I strongly believe that Kikuchi Keisuke will release the Fatal Frame V in America, in many countries. He and me have same philosophy from Tecmo days. That’s what I can say for now. I want you guys to read between the lines.
Anyway I will play this game :)”.

Thanks, KillBill

      1. I know that. Someone here explain that to me once. I just don’t like that way it looks. I’ve even search the dictionary for it and couldn’t find it.

          1. Rumor? If so, than holy crap that word looks worse than localised. Rum-our is just wrong. Sorry to bash the way you guys spell but you’ll do the same if it was spelled in American English.

              1. There will always be those of us in America (fuck yeah!) who cherish proper grammar and spelling. Unlike many de-evolved dialects, we’ll still speak proper. ;D

All the noisy people hog the lime-light. Making the rest of us look bad. As much as I want to join on the arguments, I feel that as an American; I should remain silent, and allow my stupid brethren room to frolic among my international acquaintances. Viva la North America.

Exactly. Like when I’m a Boss Ass Bitch was bitching about how localized is spelled with an s instead of a z in that one article on here. lol Sometimes it’s best to just keep quiet & let the little cubs fend for themselves.

  1. PLEASE YES I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE

Though, we never got Fatal Frame 4 localized, and that was for a console that sold way more in its lifespan. So… I dunno.

  2. Ridley, the Angel of Death

I hope Tomonobu Itagaki is right because I need another horror game in my Wii U collection! With Crapcom not giving us Resident Evil Revelations 2 in the foreseeable future, we fucking need this! Hurry the fuck up, Nintendo, & localize it outside of Japan!

      1. Ridley, the Angel of Death

And we now know that he was hinting to us that they were working on localizing it outside of Japan.

  3. Ahora solo espero que no hagan lo que Nintendo hizo con Bayonetta 2 y solo liberen una cantidad mínima de copias del juego.

  4. You’d think that Koei Tecmo would know that there are quite a few games out there that are “made only for the Japanese”, yet they go on to do well internationally.

  5. If this game comes to the USA I hardly doubt it will sale well without some intense marketing. Don’t get me wrong or anything I’ll buy this day one I’m a horror fanatic. But I believe a game like this would serve well on the PS4, or if Nintendo would allow a camera similar to the ps4s or Xbox ones. Imagine seeing your own facing during this game on walls or if the game took your cellphone number and gave you a creepy call. Developers should look into using social media integration when it comes to horror games to give the player a more ideal sense of being scared.

    1. Marketing the game would cost more than it would be worth. And “intensive marketing” would eat up any profit they would make of the game.
Best course of action, would be translate and release it eShop only, physical only if they think they can cover shipping.
You sure you want to see your stupid face randomly on the game?
Would kill a lot of tension if the camera took it at wrong time.
Phone call… kinda like it, but it is not really viable, unless it would utilize wlan. And that you would have to set up.

      1. Well if it accessed your Facebook. And you had your number on Facebook it could give you a nice call or change your profile image.
As for the “stupid face” thing come on man. Trying to solve a mystery of a killer and eventually finding a photograph of said killer and its a picture of the user would be pretty intense.

  6. Fatal Frame 5 aka Project Zero V to Europe and US?

Oh please do! I have been fan of the series for years. Last year I saw trailer and ever since my fingers have been itching to get hold of it. There is dedicated fans here in the Europe and in the US too so please, please don´t let us down..

Release it physical and/or digital only, we will bite!

Release it with original voice tracks only, but with english subtitles and we will bite!

  7. Please! Yes! I’ve been dying to play this game again for years and seeing that it’s on the Wii U is a dream come true after the first time I heard it might be localized. This game would be great in my library.
