We are all excited to hear more about ex-Rare developers Playtonic and their latest creation, Project Ukulele. The team have produced a question and answer session on their site, which is well worth a read if you’re interested in their project. PlayTonic has also announced that their KickStarter will launch in May.
Why Kickstarter?
“Ivory backscratchers. Also, we want to make this the best game it can possibly be, with the creative freedom to ensure that the final product is something we can all be proud of. Since our public unveiling the community has cranked up the pressure for us to deliver the best game of our careers (so far…) and this will help us do that. It’s also a great opportunity to build community and have fans get their hands on all the cool physical rewards they want (and can sell on eBay in a few years at inflated prices… everyone wins!)”
Thanks, Jester

cool dont care. just release the damn game you shit
What a lil cry baby
no im not
A game kinda has to be fully developed first before its release… Errrr, I mean, a game has to at least be developed to an acceptable playable state before its release….
I’m with you. Who gives a rats ass how the video game is made. Just make it do what you go to do then release it. If THEY Want To entertain us unveil the main character/characters to gey customer feedback on what people think to determine if it’s acceptable as a Banjo-Kazooie alternative. If not go back to the R&D and think and design mode characters until you get it right.
