Atlus has expressed interest in localizing The Legend of Legacy for Nintendo 3DS. The role-playing game, which launched earlier this year in Japan, is apparently being prepped for release in Western territories. The news was leaked by Atlus PR manager John Hardin, who said the following during the latest Shin Megami Tensei Social Link podcast:
“That’s not to say we’re not looking beyond not-not just Aquaplus and Spike Chun, and everything. I hope we see a lot more Japanese games come over here. Actually, we did announce The Legend of Legacy is coming over here, and we have another one in the can, too, that I can’t talk about yet, ha ha ha ha. But another really niche Japanese game that actually isn’t even out yet—we’re bringing it over for the 3DS later this year. What could it be?”
Can we get Snowboard Kids 2 on the Eshop too?

For some reason, I’ve totally lost all interest in the 3DS. I never had TOO much interest in the first place. I only have 10 games for the 3DS. And I’ve owned it since launch.

We got screwed on the VC end of the whole deal. I love the 3DS, but majority of the games on eShop are trash. Sales on some of the dumbest crap, I don’t even understand it.

How does 1 leak info that was already announced? Or is the article referring to a leak & referencing a later quote to confirm that what was “leaked” is true? Is Hardin’s use of the word ‘announce’ PR spin or simply an error? Either way–did announce or did leak–why not quote the original announcement or actual leak? Or was the article’s use of ‘leak’ for hype’s sake, or also simply an error?
They could go and publish freaking Battle Raper for all I care as long as they dont wimp out and make the translations download only versions. Got screwed over on a couple good looking games that way.
