Woolly World supports Gamepad (and Off-TV) as well as Pro Controller, Wii Remote Sideways & Classic Controller (not sure if only for 2P).

If you are not a fan of the Wii U GamePad then you will be pleased to know that the gorgeous Yoshi’s Woolly World will support a variety of other controllers. Yoshi’s latest adventure for the Wii U will support the Wii U GamePad, Wii U Pro Controller, the Wii Remote and the Wii Classic Controller. So you have plenty of options regarding how you want to play the game.

What function will the Yarn Yoshi amiibo have in 2-player mode? I don’t remember hearing anything about it. Will you still have a double Yoshi and a second player? 4 Yoshis? What

I don’t get why people don’t like the gamepad, it’s the most high tech controller out there.
A lot of people find it too wide and uncomfortable, but I actually find it a solid controller. It’s not the best designed, but I find it comfortable enough to be played on.
It fits perfectly into my hand, unlike playstation controllers which I’ve never found someone who said those fit right in their hand.

The Gamepad is little different than the Pro Controller. I prefer the Pro Controller because of its shoulder buttons being more flexible to tap than the Gamepad.
it doesnt use hi tk or mouse pointing but it ALLOWS CHOICE i agree with you about gamepad andvwii remote plus FOR THAT MATTER
but ths is just optional choice rather than OPTERIZATION

my only complaint about the gamepad is the battery lifespan is really horrible compared to the pro-controller (which is also much lighter and easier on my wrists when playing for extended periods)

GAMEPADS OVER 3 HOURS PLUS MORE THAN ENOUGH AND ISNT THERE A CHARGING cable mine is by my side at all times

I think the gamw looks great, and lovely, but I haven’t completed the last Nintendo platformer I bought (DKC TF), and I have a big back log of games… So, I’ll be skipping thins one. Splatoon looks great, though, getting that one!

I think I was half-way through when I stopped playing it. Been trying to start playing it again, but at most, I complete one new level, and replay a couple of my favorites..!

I don’t really have that much time to play, and now, most of my play time goes to HW. I don’t even play Smash or Mario Kart anymore.
The gamepad is more natural for the human body.

The High-Capacity battery installed GamePad is too fucking heavy!! It kills my wrists if I have to hold the GamePad for an extended amount of time. I’m amazed my nieces (4-5) have no complaints of the weight of the GamePad. They usually set it on a pillow to play. I don’t really have that option to lay on the floor with a pillow. lol. Pro Controller is by far my favorite gaming controller of any generation! They should’ve included a Pro Controller with the (upscaled same priced) Wii U and made the Game Pad a buyable option. That’d make too much sense. Yoshi looks solid.

It seems counter-intuitive for Nintendo to allow so many controllers for their games, especially when they still haven’t sold the consumer on WHY the gamepad is so great for playing games…and I don’t think they’ll ever do that. Seems like they’ve just given up on that aspect of the console.
guys Stop complaining about the Game Pad Ok so I think U all are Idiots the game pad is only comfortable with a Jacket or stuff so no wii U pro Controller is Dumb as My Case every time I Use it it will go Out of Wack
