Bandai Namco finally lifted the lid on the free to play Project Treasure which is totally exclusive to the Wii U. Judging from the newly released trailer it is an action packed title features a number of deadly dungeons for you to conqueror and explore which are full of zombies and savage monsters. Why are they having a direct now if E3 is 2 weeks from now?
Because E3 is mainly geared towards North American/English speaking gaming fans
E3 will only be showing games that are coming out this year for Wii U and 3DS. Project Treasure must not be coming out this year.

This is the Japanese nintendo direct and it was 3ds focused.
Maybe Nintendo want to show that they have so much games that they can have a direct two weeks before the e3 or maybe they are nuts I don’t know

Well, gotta say, I kind of agree with him. I never buy a game based off graphics, nor do they bother me that much. But he’s right on this one, the graphics honestly look like an early PS3 era game. Go look at Uncharted 2 and compare it to this game. Uncharted two looks a little better..

It’s still in it’s alpha stages man. Remember what people was saying about Super Mario 3D World and Xenoblade Chronicles X when they were in their early builds? And then what happened? The end results of those games ended up far exceeding the early versions, so let’s wait to see to how it turns out before we prejudge
I remember super Mario 3d world having very light content. Also short, unattractive, and linear levels. About 5 steps down after the super Mario galaxy games.

Go play a ps2 game again. These graphics aren’t amazing but they are definitely better than the ps2 generation of games.
They are probably gonna show more about this game at E3. As from what I am seeing, since this game is free to play then it probably is an online multiplauer game and is probably a cooperative game based on how well you work together similar to the team work need in Pay day the Heist. You will be going through dungeons as a team of course.

I completely forgot about this, and I remember being excited for it too. But, ugh, the graphics don’t good nice at all. The Wii U is obviously not a PS4 in terms of graphics but I can confidently say the Wii U can produce way better graphics than that.

First off, I HATE free to play games. That is something that should die, and the fact that we are getting a F2P game on the Wii U is disgusting. Second, I hate arcady style slasher games, with Bayonetta being the only exception… Graphics could honestly be way better. After seeing Xenoblade and Zelda, it’s painfully obvious that the developers did not try and use all the Wii U’s resources for this game. Another case of a lazy developer in my opinion. Game looks boring, and I will not support F2P games…. Ever…

Yes. All the time, some of my favorites being the Total War series. Star Craft and the early Warcraft games.
Maybe I was a bit harsh on this game… I stand by my F2P hate, but I realize maybe this game is a little too early in development to judge it so negatively.
1. Wait until the game is released because just how hyrule warriors and several other Nintendo games improved with the graphics over time then this game might also
2. Like for example I think devils third will look like Bayo 2 in terms of graphics which is an improvement of what it looked like in the past when if is most likely shown at e3
Lol did you actually use hyrule warriors as an example? That game could only go up after its horrid alpha footage. Even the final build looked like 360 at best, not even comparable to a good ps3 game. Shame on you.

I need to see more about this game. Maybe the graphics will get better and maybe there’s more to it than the hacking and slashing. Don’t get me wrong, I’m interested. I really don’t know much about it, but it’s Free To Play? How is that going to work? Simply because of that, it may not be worth it.

Wow lot of negativity in the comments. Sure it’s not the BEST possible graphics the Wii U can produce. The only reason I will give it a pass on the graphics is because it is a free to play title and I don’t think we have a game of this style on the Wii U. So I say good on Namco Bandi to be one of the few 3rd party companies to support the Wii U. Looks like a combination between Resident Evil and Left 4 Dead, so it has my attention and if it has online co-op….”sold” (even though it’s a free download.)
Even in its early build state, I’m already impressed at the characters (it will be improved in a matter of months, or at least a year) and the game play mechanism. When Bandai-Namco launches this free-to-play title (including the finalized title name) launches at the Wii U eShop, I’ll be more than grateful to give this the ultimate test drive.
Right on my friend, I agree with everything you said. When this game launches I’m more than willing to play it for all it’s worth and see what it has to offer. So I’m just thinking, why can’t we all be more optimistic towards this title, could prove to be amazing fun. Just like you, I’m already impressed with what little the trailer actually showed off.

I don’t get the negativity about the graphics. I think they look great in this video. Or maybe it’s the fact I put the video at 720 HD & that’s why it looks good to me. *shrug* Anyway, if Hyrule Warriors & a few other games are anything to go by, this game’s graphics will probably improve as it nears it’s release. The only thing I actually see wrong with this game right now is the free 2 play thing. But as a free 2 play game, it looks pretty good.
