The Binding Of Isaac: Rebirth Won’t Have Save Syncing Or Local Multiplayer

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is coming to the New Nintendo 3DS and Wii U soon enough, and a few details about the game have emerged. On a reddit thread, ‘tyronerodriguez’ from the developer, Nicalis, revealed that there won’t be save syncing to transfer data between the two systems, and there won’t be any local multiplayer. The price also looks like it’ll be $15, and we should be getting a release date announced sometime in June.

I didn’t think it was going to anyway. I didn’t know those were features of Binding of Isaac to begin with. I thought it was a single player rogue adventure that you have to redo on every system you buy it for.

  2. MH3U did the save-sync stuff, it was manual, but it was possible. Still buying either way. I’ve waited for this since the original flash game launched.

  3. If you look at the reddit thread, it is specifically saying there will be no multiplayer for the 3ds. I would imagine the console version would still have it.
But if not that is legitimately heartbreaking. I have been waiting for this one for a long time, and that is a deal breaker. I already have it on Vita to play solo.

  4. It’s a great game, and I’ve played the PC version a lot. Seeing how the WiiU version is inferior might as well just get it for your PC. The requirements are extremely low so almost any PC can run it, and with the PC you can use almost any controller you want.

  5. Funny. I was going to get the Wii U version specifically for the local multiplayer. Go figure, right?

  6. Ridley 4 Smash DLC!

No local multiplayer!? No! Fuck you! *sarcasm* I had no idea this game even had multiplayer so no loss for me hearing this news. Besides, it says no local MP so I’m guessing it at least has online MP.
