Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave has been rated in Europe

Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave the next mainline Fire Emblem game for the Nintendo Switch 2 has recently been rated by PEGI in Europe. Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave joins Splatoon Raiders which was also recently rated by the rating board. Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave was given a rating of 12+ and the listing suggests it could be getting DLC, but we shall have to wait and see what happens with that.

  1. “…but previous Fire Emblem games have had the same icon in their listing and have not received any.”

Huh? Both Three Houses and Engage got DLC.

      1. Well we had dlc in fire emblem since fire emblem awakening. The only in between title that didn’t revive dlc was three hopes.

    1. Hey look, a smash brothers fan who hates fire emblem because there are too many character from fire emblem in smash brothers!

      1. Ironically FE has 8 characters in Smash while Mario has +14 which includes DK, Wario, Yoshi and Echo Fighters.

        1. Mario and Pokémon are a given, considering they are Nintendo’s biggest juggernauts ever. And “Super Smash Bros.” kinda sounds like a Mario spin-off or something. But yeah, I wouldn’t say there are “too many Fire Emblem characters” in Smash. And, most likely, some of them (Corrin, Byleth, Chrom, Roy and, maybe, Robin) won’t be returning in a Smash 6.

          1. There are more playable fire emblem characters than there are pokémon, and fire emblem is extremely popular in japan

            1. Playable Pokémon: Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, Pichu, Lucario, Squirtle, Ivysaur, Charizard, Greninja, Incineroar (10) (Reminder that Pokémon Trainer isn’t controllable and all of their mons have separate entries and complete movesets)
Playable Fire Emblem: Marth, Roy, Ike, Lucina, Robin, Corrin, Chrom, Byleth (8)

Which math is this that makes FE have more playable chars than Pokémon?

    2. You couldn’t have tried a little harder with your obvious bait? You didn’t even get the punctuation in your name right.
The standard for trolling on this site seems to have fallen significantly, shame.

      1. I tell this to everyone “If you going to ragebait, make it actually good.” because it’s clear most people suck at ragebaiting. The funny thing about this site is that I don’t really like calling things bad, but I get attacked for liking things. I have been told multiple times to go d!e for liking the ff7 remake and galaxy movie which is more a threat then ragebaiting. I would say most ragebaits on this site are either very weak or death threats.

        1. I’m not too bad ty :)
I took a break from the site for awhile because of the people (or, more likely, the one singular person pretending to be multiple people) turning every comment section into a political war zone for no reason.
I’m hoping it’s improved recently because I do genuinely like this site aside from the trolls.

          1. We just got rid of Robyn W so the site should be better now. I haven’t been here for that long so I don’t know you, but I am glad to see someone returning.

          2. I think it’s in a aight state, there are still some “woke this woke that” guys from time to time but Sickr usually takes action and ban them

    3. For idiots like you, I just want to remind you that Fire Emblem: Three Houses sold 4.12 million copies, and Fire Emblem Engage sold 1.61 million copies.

        1. That’s actually a lot for a previously unpopular franchise in america. It’s not record breaking numbers, but it’s really impressive how many units this series can push even with it’s small fanbase.

    4. @Fortune,s weeb.
I don’t want it because it’s censored. I was a kid watching 4kids dubbed anime and playing censored final fight years ago but now I’m in my 30’s and I realize if I support censored content, I will get a lesser experience so I will spend my money elsewhere.

      1. That was a while back, now most games are the same in japan and america. So don’t worry, you should have nothing to worry about.

  2. Funny that I completely forgot this game was a thing, probably due to the radio silence since the announcement. But I guess it might be the big 2026 title or, at least, one of them.

    1. Either Nintendo has gotten really bad at advertising their games or they just haven’t announced that many games recently cause I really felt in the switch era that I had many games to look forward in the coming months instead of now where there’s like one or two games coming out in the future that I just forgot about it

      1. I think it’s more a matter of giving third parties the time to shine without many first party in the way. Some, like Capcom and, arguably, Square and Sega took advantage of that. Capcom’s support, even compared to the original Switch, is amazing.

The original Switch was an unproven possibility, on the top of being the perfect machine to receive Wii U ports since not many ever bought one. I also remember that the Wii U spent a fair amount of time without many first party announcements until it was clear it’d be a flop so Nintendo started giving it a bunch of content. Since the Switch 2 was already riding off the Switch’s huge success, the upgradeable Switch titles and giving us Mario Kart World and DK Bananza so close to each other, they probably decided to take some time off giving a deluge of titles.

I’m fairly sure that, now that the Switch 2 is going to complete one year in the market, they’ll start to announce many titles. 2027 will have Pokémon already. Splatoon Riders and Fire Emblem are a thing. If the rumors are true, there’s still OoT remake and Star Fox.
