Here’s A New Luigi’s Mansion Arcade Trailer Plus Official Website Opens

Arcade machines are becoming redundant here in the west, but who could resist playing an arcade version of the beloved Luigi’s Mansion franchise? Gamers in Japan will have the opportunity to play Luigi’s Mansion Arcade which is based on the Nintendo 3DS hit Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon. Capcom who are producing the game have released two new videos showcasing the game’s mechanics which should be familiar to anyone that’s had the opportunity to play the originals. Be sure to check out the official website which has just gone live.

Thanks Krag

    1. Not really. Dark Moon got the idea right of extending gameplay with multiple mansions. I hope the next game will be on home consoles and offer an open world with many creepy and dark environments with many ghost encounters to try and scare you. :3 Oh and PLEASE don’t reuse King Boo as a villain again. He was in fact a little disappointing in Dark Moon and want a different and challenging final boss.

        1. That too. But Bowser in the first was King Boo’s disguise which was rather clever. But the second game didn’t even try to up the anti for final boss or have any surprises in the ending plus part 2 reuses the “Mario gets kidnapped by ghosts” plot point so it’s rather playing safe and I don’t like that.

            1. All they’re gonna talk shit about is Phil kissing ass for sympathy sales for their failed Xbox One (dumbest fucking choice of name ever for the THIRD XBOX…), Halo 5 which is gonna be on PC anyway making Xbox even more pointless, new gay ass Rare’s next stupid ass game that no one cares about anymore and more DRM/Cable bullshit. Boring.

        2. I view them as two separate games, almost, since the second one was such a departure from the first. I think they both have their strengths and weaknesses, but I try not to compare the two, because they were both really fun.

      1. I’m guessing this was the new Luigi’s Mansion game I heard about. XD Wow. Anyway, this could work on Wii U as an eShop arcade game downing working on Wii Remote to play.

      2. Arcades? Redundant here in the west? Haha no. Barely any of the good arcade games from Japan release here in arcade format. It’s not redundant, it’s dying. And it sucks.

      3. “Arcade machines are becoming redundant here in the west” – I am quite curious to know how you came to this conclusion when several companies are still making a fine living off of developing and releasing new games to the West these days. Capcom and Nintendo are seeing the obvious benefits of producing content for an allegedly “redundant” industry – Nintendo has Mario Kart GP DX on the Western market through Bandai Namco Amusements since last year and that same company (BNA) has released Star Wars Battle Pod; Deadstorm Pirates Special Edition; Lost Land Adventure; Super Alpine Racer and the just released Time Crisis 5 – companies like Sega still make arcade games, they are big on Showdown and Transformers at the moment; Raw Thrills’ new Jurassic Park Arcade is the top earning game at the moment making as much money as ticket redemption games do and they are always releasing a few new games a year. For an industry that is dead or redundant, it is certainly odd that they keep making all of these expensive new games for some reason, don’t you think?

          >>>Hopefully they mention something like that tomorrow or in a ND later this year>>>
