Nintendo UK has informed customers that the Mario Modern Colours amiibo is now available to pre-order via the Official Nintendo UK Store. If you want him you will have to be quick on the mark as he will no doubt be snapped up by collectors and scalpers. Mario Modern Colour amiibo is available for £10.99 but you need to pay £1.99 for postage.
Mario’s style has evolved throughout his many adventures and challenges. This blocky, classic look harkens back to his design in the original Super Mario Bros.™ game that launched for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1985. His blue overalls and red shirt represent his modern color scheme, and are mixed with the retro aesthetic of the original game.
I’m going to assume we’ll get him pretty soon?

My amiibo sitting on display in boxes is a better use than pretty much any you’ll get with the games right now. Smash is the best use and I can beat level 50 amiibo so I hardly play with them. Human players are just better and more unpredictable. Anyway I should buy a bunch of amiibo and make a video of me burning them to piss off losers like you. Fuck off lol stop caring about what people do with the stuff they buy, it’s quite pathetic.
I have every amiibo except Marth (which I’ll be importing soon) and Gold Mario (which neither of my local Wal-Mart stores ever received). Plus I have doubles of 18 (soon to be 21) that I opened and have displayed on a wall shelf in my bedroom.

I live in North America, and I saw this modern pixel Mario amiibo 2 days ago at Wal-Mart in a new Wii U/Super Mario Maker bundle set that just came out. I was looking at it and thinking to myself…”I sure hope this eventually gets sold separately). I MUST have modern Mario!
