    1. Why are most of these released in 2014.? Mario Kart 8 was released before last summer, so if the reason is that most of these games were released after the last year’s award show, at least MK 8 should’ve been there. This really makes no sense.

Good. If it does extremely well then maybe Game Freak will quit staying within their safety net & actually try to take more chances with the mainline Pokemon games because at this point only kids will continue to play the series as those that grew up with it feel the series is getting stale. Competition breeds a better product.

      1. But aren’t kids the main audience/consumers of the Yo-kai Watch series?
You do have a point though. Something needs to challenge Gamefreak so that they can improve on the quality of games they make.
Although with the upcoming Pokemon GO, even going so far as to include the watch…

Well in any case, all games can be fun with a little effort.

Marketing to kids or not, a product should strive to be as best as it can be. Not all kids are idiots, after all, & some do want more out of their games, not the same old, same old.

  1. Sounds like a good day to be a e the same time I try to get a new one is the best thing ever is when you have to be a good day to be a good time to get a new one is the best thing ever is when you have to be a good day to be a good day for me every day

… Just literally used my phone’s suggested word function 38 tines or so. Stll makes more sense than these picks.

  2. Call of Duty gets the Global award when outstanding games like Witcher 3 and Dragon Age Inquisition were released so recently :/

They were probably like “Oh, shit, forgot about the global award.. fuck, I don’t know, just slap on a best-seller”

  3. I find it rather egotistical of Japan to have a “Japan game awards” show. Video games are a global medium, and there they are telling themselves how great their games are.

    1. I know right!? Movies and music are a global medium, yet we have the Oscars, Emmy, Grammys, AMAs, EMAs to tell americans how great their movies and music are.

      1. The Grammys, Emmy, and Oscars don’t blatantly stick the word American before their titles like Japan does with their video game awards show. You do have a point about the AMA’s and the EMA’s though.

        1. Xenorogue Master Ridley X3

Screw both of you. All award shows should be banned! Who’s the most beautiful? Fuck that! It’s an insult to ugly people! Who’s the strongest man? Fuck that! It’s an insult to weak people! Who’s the fastest? Fuck that! It’s an insult to slow people! I can go on but I don’t feel like this joke should carry on any further.
