Japan Is Getting An Actual Pokémon Gym

No, you read that headline correctly. According to Siliconera, Japanese company Sanoyas Interaction has announced that they will be opening “Pokémon EXPO Gym,” a hands on entertainment/education facility to provide advice and tips on playing Pokémon. According to the website, various programs include “Charizard’s Battle Colosseum” and “Gardevoir’s Control Score,” that will train you and reward with special Pokémon for X, Y, Alpha Saphire, and Omega Ruby.

Not only that, fans who pre-order their member’s card on October 31st. Following that, a “Pokémon EXPO Gym Gear” app is launching for smartphones showing stats and rankings in the gym. The Pokémon EXPO Gym is set to open November 19, 2015 is Osaka, Japan.
