This week’s Japanese sales charts are now in courtesy of Media Create. There hasn’t been too many new releases this week so there’s been no real hardware bumps. Chibi Robo! Zip Lash remains a concern as the title has slipped once again and sales are now down by 48% which doesn’t bode well for the franchise’s future. However, Splatoon on Wii U continues to do well. Here’s this week’s best-selling software and hardware in Japan.

As expected. Super Mario Maker only brought a temporary spike in Wii U sales. There’s not enough momentum of big name games coming to keep the spike SMM gave going. I won’t be surprised if it’s the same everywhere else. A raise in percentages is fucking meaningless without numbers to back them up. Sorry, paidenthusiast & others, that get foolishly hyped over those. If history of the Wii U has anything to say about it, the raise in percentages are just mentioned to trick the hopeless ones into thinking the Wii U is doing incredibly well when it’s really not.
Hopeless ones is a nice way of saying idiots, just so y’know.
