The NPD Group has revealed the best-selling video games in the United States during the month of October. As expected it was Halo 5: Guardians for the Xbox One which claimed the top spot. However, it is good to see that Yoshi’s Woolly World entered the charts at number eight beating both the Uncharted Collection on the PlayStation 4 and Rock Band 4 for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The NPD Group has also said that if software was ranked on a SKU-basis, then Super Mario Maker would rank in the top 10 for the month.

It honestly did better than I thought it would for being a less than system-seller Wii U (single console) game released midway through the month. I’m gonna get it likely this or next month anyway.

This did better than both Uncharted (to be fair it’s a remastered collection which I’m sure PS3 owners didn’t want to buy for full price) and Guitar Hero live.
Honestly, that’s amazing to me. I expected this title to sort of flop because of how long the wait ended up being compared to both the e3 announcement and the release everywhere else in the world.

So people rather buy multi instead of exclusive now. Thats stupid. Madden is Nadden and NBA is NBA. Same rules same shit applies. People act like they scared to buy something new. AC is AC with a different tittle big deal. Same shit. I thought the point of owning a PS4 or Xbox was exclusives first multiplat second. Thats why the gaming industry sucks. No one wants to buy Exclusives.

Oh and Yoshi’s Woolly World is the best game on that list. Though people are too stupid and too caught on sterotypes of colors too much for grownups. But give EA and Ubisoft $69 every year for the same shit.

I agree. Even though I’d love to play Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. But I have to wait until the PS4 has a DRAMATIC price drop before I can buy one.
Wow! Every Multiplatform game sold better on PS4 than XBO, except for Rock Band… Wow.
Yoshi’s Wooly World is an amazing game. I’m on World 4 right now, and I’ve been loving every minute. It’s one of those special games that don’t come around too often. Definitely my favorite first party Wii U game.
