Japan: Nintendo 3DS Sells 28K And Wii U Sells 17K

This week’s hardware and software charts are now in from Japan courtesy of Media Create. It has been a good week for Nintendo as Wii U sales have seen a nice boost thanks to the recently released Splatoon bundle. With regards to software the highest new entry this week is Project X Zone 2: Brave New World on the Nintendo 3DS. Here’s the best-selling software and hardware this week!

    I can’t wait to get Project X Zone 2, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, & Need for Speed (open world racing games has renewed my interest in racing games as I loved that about the original Most Wanted & it’s remake) for my PS4. I’ll get Assassin’s Creed Syndicate when I know for certain it won’t have many bugs pissing me off because it does got me interested. Til then, Ubishit isn’t getting a fucking dime from me!

        Exactly! We’re on the verge of 2016 so I got the PlayStation 4 at just the right time in it’s life span! And ew, Xbone! No thanks. I’m waiting for it to be under 200 bucks before I buy it so I can play some of the Rare titles I loved on the N64.

            Blame Nintendo for being idiots letting Rare go all those years ago. I’m going to play my favorite N64 games from Rare one way or another. If it’s through Microsoft’s Xbox, so be it.

            More importantly, this isn’t about Nintendo, Sony, OR Microsoft anymore. This is about ME playing games that I WANT to play. Fuck loyalties to consoles. I’ve learned it’s for fools these days especially as far as Nintendo is concerned right now because they’ve pissed away my loyalty for the last time. It’s time to be loyal to myself, not some greedy companies that could care less one way or another whether I buy their shit or not since they got millions of other idiots to suck money from.

                    If that asshole Don Mattrick was still in charge of the Xbox Brand & still sold the Xbone with all of those anti-consumer features, I’d agree with you wholeheartedly. But he’s not. Phil Spencer is in charge now & he’s made the Xbone do a 180 by removing those bullshit features and isn’t being a total asshole to the fanbase. And seems to be an all around nice guy who is a fan of his competition, just like Shuhei Yoshida of Sony, and has some morals. So til Phil Spencer pulls a Don Mattrick, or worse, I’m giving the guy the benefit of a doubt.

                            I’m only buying a small minority of amiibo, around 15-20, of characters I like. I’ll only buy Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon if it gets DLC that lets me play the game as Eevee because I’m a huge Eevee fanboy.

                            And whatever. Think what you want. I’m done being Nintendo’s puppet. Do yourself a favor & cut the strings from your own back. You got most of them severed but there is still one or two left. And empire? Pfft. Like the Empire in Star Wars, Nintendo’s Empire is on it’s last legs so some empire it is now.

                                    Oh really? Like removing a bust slider from a game? Or how about censoring a 13 yr old’s bikini that is in a game for teenagers just like said character? Or how about not giving lingerie DLC to a game rated M for Mature for adult gamers to play? How about working on Metroid Prime: Federation Force instead of making a true Metroid Prime game?
