The final wave of Mii Fighter costumes will be arriving to the 3DS and Wii U Super Smash Bros. Some will arrive today and some will arrive in February 2016. Here’s the list:
- Takamaru from Nazo no Murasame (Sword Fighter – Male)
- Ashley from WarioWare (Sword Fighter – Female)
- Tails from Sonic (Gunner – Male)
- Bionic Armor (Brawler)
- Gil from The Tower of Duraga (Sword Fighter – Male)
- Knuckles from Sonic (Brawler – Male)
On the Smash Bros Official website there is also readable QR codes to download users ‘lookalike’ Mii’s.
*eye twitch* Since we aren’t getting a playable Ridley, a Mii Brawler costume of Ridley would have more than made up for it for me! *sigh* Well looks like I’ll be back on the Ridley 4 Smash next gen when they start working on Super Smash Bros 5.
And fuck you! No Sephiroth (swordfighter), Tifa (brawler), & Barrett (gunner) costumes!? ARGH!!! MISSED OPPORTUNITY!!!
Preferably their Advent Children designs, though!

You know what other Metroid character needs to come back in Smash in some way? Kraid. He/it hasn’t been seen in Smash since Brinstar Depths which has unfortunately never been brought back from Melee.

I’d also love to see outfits for Silver the Hedgehog, Ken and Guile (hey, we got Ryu as an actual fighter, so why not?), Sylux, Impa, and a character from Xenoblade Chronicles X (haven’t played it yet but hot damn do I want to).
Sakurai: Sorry but not going to happen. My team can’t do anything without me because I hog up all of the work & am an egotistical control freak. But I want to take a break from all of the work I didn’t even have to do if I trained my team like a leader of a dev team should do. Thanks for your input, though. So it’s not just me who thought it was too little, too late. Bayonetta, I’m indifferent since I haven’t played either of her games (but I’ll admit she looks awesome from her reveal trailer). Corrin though? Seriously? Donkey Kong, Metroid, Star Fox, and F-Zero don’t even have a second or third fighter and you go and give Fire Emblem a sixth?
I believe we have found a third franchise he is biased towards.
Since I’m not getting Ridley, I’m okay with Corrin since he is part dragon & can even turn into a dragon. If I can’t get a space dragon, I’ll settle for a sword wielding dragon instead.
Not excusing him, though, since the games you mentioned do deserve some love.

But I look at it this way. Anyone that is against a playable Ridley AND hates the fact Fire Emblem is getting another character, I will enjoy rubbing Corrin in their faces. “It’s not the dragon I wanted (Ridley) but Corrin will do!” xP
I’ve never been pro- nor anti- Ridley. If he becomes playable, great. If not, that’s fine by me too. And I’m still getting Corrin for completion’s sake, but I will forever question the decision.
I can’t help but feel Corrin’s inclusion is a way for Sakurai to stick it to those that wanted Ridley. “You still want that space dragon Ridley? Well tough shit. Here’s Corrin, a Fire Emblem dragon with a sword, instead!”
I get that this mirrors Roy’s inclusion in Melee (Binding Blade was months away from release in Japan at the time), but sometimes history need not repeat itself.
