The Guardian Lists Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate In Top 5 Of 2015

UK news publication The Guardian has revealed their favourite video games of the year and today they published their final top five games of 2015. Interestingly, they picked Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate as their fourth best games of 2015 beating the likes of Splatoon, Fallout 4, and a host of other high profile titles on various formats. Here’s what they had to say about Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate on the Nintendo 3DS.

Monster Hunter 4U is the experienced professional in this list, the latest entry in a series that nailed the core mechanics early and has iterated since. But MH4U goes far beyond simple refinement, and into offering what is perhaps the most content-rich game Capcom has ever produced. Come for the thrilling monster battles with precision combat, stay for the fine outfits you can make out of their hides, and be swept away by the camaraderie of hunters co-operating online.

  1. Bloodborne
  2. Witcher 3
  3. Metal Gear Solid V
  4. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate
  5. Fallout 4

  1. I’ve never played Bloodborn so I can’t comment on that, but nice list of games. Metal Gear isn’t in my top of the year, but it’s nice to see a list that doesn’t have The Witcher 3 as number 1 :].
