Nintendo Japan has given us a closer look at the brand new costumes for Super Mario Maker. There’s two new costumes for you to try out and they are Excitebike and Birdo character skins. Be sure to give them a look in the two videos embedded above and below. They certainly look rather cool!

Between the excitebike arena in Mario Mario 8 DLC, and this excite bike character in Super Mario Maker, I feel like Nintendo is trying to see how big the fanbase is, in consideration for a new Excite Bike game. I wish I could say the same for F-Zero, but I’m not sure if the MK8 references are supposed to just be a pat on the back.
I’ve only played a bit of the GBA version of Excitebike, but the N64 version must be tons of fun.
64 version was so damn fun.
They should remake Excite bike with excellent graphics but keep the old school vibe of the riders and bikes. $$$
