Nintendo America Reconfirms Star Fox Zero For April

Previous concerns that Platinum Games and Nintendo’s Star Fox Zero had been pushed back until the summer appear to be unfounded as Nintendo of America has issued a press release today that states that Fox McCloud’s latest game will still be arriving on the Wii U on April 22nd. It was originally pushed back to give it some much needed polish.

Star Fox Zero delivers a new beginning for the classic shooter series. With a unique control scheme that uses both the TV screen and the screen on the GamePad, players pilot multiple vehicles through intergalactic levels with Fox and his classic crew. The game launches exclusively for Wii U on April 22 and will feature amiibo compatibility. More details will be revealed at a later time.

    1. Yeah, I never thought there was “much needed polish” game isn’t supposed to look hyper realistic and the conjecture in that statement is so thick considering the very small amount of the game first seen, then it came back and was looking very good… How about, it just was never finished all the times we saw it and EVERY game continues to get “polished” on its way toward production and release

  1. I’m excited to see the game again, hopefully it looks better (not necessary in terms of graphics, I’m thinking more about game play..!)
