You may have noticed that you’re unable to access Splatoon‘s online features. This is because the Wii U shooter’s network services have been down for a couple of hours now, and Nintendo has confirmed that it’s on the case. The network service should be back up soon, but we’ll let you know if the downtime lasts longer than expected. Splatoon’s very last stage, Ancho-V Games, was added to the game’s map rotation earlier this week.

I can accept problems when the online service is free. If I was paying I’d be pissed off.
In other words, fuck sony and microsoft and their bs business practises.
That last map was just the bit that pushed Splatoon’s servers to much and crashed it lol. To much content lol.

Saw this coming last night. Weird things kept happening on Ancho-V. I encountered timing glitches, dropped players and other random weirdness (I encountered players that I literally could not kill, even when special attacking them). Hope they get things sorted out soon, cause the map was crazy fun.
But has it been fixed yet?
